Palm Sunday is one of the main Christian holidays. It is one of the twelfth – 12 most important holidays after Easter. Another name for Palm Sunday is the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem. What do we know about these holidays?

Willow – the first of the trees in our region awakens from its winter stupor. People consider willow a miraculous plant. According to beliefs, the willow lit in the church protected the house from fire, and the peasant economy from ruin, protected livestock from diseases, and crops from hail and all sorts of evil misfortunes. Since ancient times, the peasants noticed that the water in which the willow branch stood remained fresh for a long time. This property strengthened faith in the miraculous power of willow.
