Welcome to La Petite Academy in Cedar Rapids, IA! We offer your child a bright beginning! My name is Stephanie and I am the Academy Director. We are excited to show you all that we have to offer!

As a leader in early childhood education and care, La Petite Academy has developed a unique set of curricula for Infants all the way up to Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten students. These curricula help children to develop critical thinking skills and intellectual curiosity for success in Kindergarten and beyond!

Our school participates in the Iowa Quality Rating System to demonstrate our commitment to child development. We serve children ages six weeks to 12 years old and bus to Nixon Elementary School.

Our teachers have a multitude of combined education and experience in the field and participate in training throughout the year to continue developing themselves to provide the highest quality of care a child can receive. We have several teachers with us for over 15 years and several more with their credentials and associate’s degrees in early childhood education.

Hello! My name is Stephanie and I am so proud to be the Academy Director of La Petite! Early Childhood Education is my passion and as a mother of 4, I am a huge advocate of children and their education. I have been in the teaching position and administration position, so as the Director, I spend time in the classrooms, getting to know the staff and children alike. I am readily available to all parents, as well. Looking forward to meeting you and your family!
