She read so many books to our kids, which they loved. She checked out new books from the library every week. She did lots of art projects withour kids, which they also loved. She took the kids outside a lot, basically every day, weather permitting. Kat is also a very good communicator and is responsible. I feel that her skills shine best with school-aged children as she engages them in healthy, inquisitive conversations. She worked for us ~25 hours/week for almost 1 year.
She rarely cancelled, and even when she did, it was always with good and appropriate communication and for a good reason. She is very reliable like this. Now our schedule has changed, so we don’t need an afternoon sitter anymore, but we hope that Kat will still come and babysit for us on occasion….

I have 3 grown children and 7 grandkids and I’ve loved every minute of being a Mom and grandma! Children have always been my passion and I love to teach and encourage creativity. I enjoyed home schooling mydaughter in grades 1-4 and am available to help with homework if needed. I believe childhood should be full of fun and adventure and I like to take kids on field trips to the zoo, parks, Exploration Place, etc. I also incorporate a lot of music, reading, and art into our play time (like I said, I like things to be fun, lol).
