What Is Little Friends School?
Since the Fall of 1965, Calvary’s Little Friends School has been guiding and loving children. Our school has held steadfast to the belief that children are individually unique and truly a gift from God. We aspire to provide a nondiscriminatory, developmentally appropriate, and Biblically sound learning environment in which preschoolers, ages 6 weeks to 6 years old, can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.
We believe in engaging children with age appropriate learning activities to foster an inner desire to explore and learn about God’s world. Our school has leaders and teachers who feel blessed and privileged to help shape the lives and futures of the little ones and families who pass through our doors.
We want to always be of assistance to you, so please let us know if you have any questions about our ministry or would like to schedule a tour of our facility. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m until 6:00 p.m. You can find all of our contact details under the Contact Us tab.

Once availability has been determined, download and complete either the Waitlist Form or the Registration forms and return to the Little Friends office with the appropriate fee ($25 waitlist, $60 registration)

Little Friends School Employment
Little Friends School is an equal opportunity employer.
However, according to DHR policy you must be at least 19 years or older, have at least a High School Diploma or a G.E.D., and you must be physically able to lift children for which care is given.
You should also consider that all of our positions require you to be a Christian and active in a local church, have a basic love and understanding of preschoolers, a commitment to teaching, and experience caring for young children.
Before you apply you should know that Little Friends School is only closed 8 weekdays out of each year: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, two days for Thanksgiving, and two days for Christmas. Therefore, if you are a student you should take into consideration that we will cut into your college experience.

Bryant and 12th Avenue, west of the University of Alabama Campus. The Little Friends office is located in the main building (behind the sanctuary). For easiest entry, park on 12th Avenue across from the sanctuary and enter by the Welcome Center.
