Phoenix is a city in the American Southwest, the capital of the state of Arizona. The city is located near the border with Mexico in the valley of the dried-up Salt River. The relief of Phoenix is a flat area surrounded by mountains. The city is famous for its university, luxurious spa resorts, trendy nightclubs, as well as attractions – museums, an archaeological park and a special botanical garden. The architecture of the city center ranges from the Victorian era to modern styles. Here, in the central area, as in any self-respecting large American city, there is a business district with skyscrapers. They are home to many financial, legal and other national and international corporations.
The climate is subtropical desert. This means that from May to September there is a thirty-degree heat here and sometimes the air warms up to +40°C. Throughout the year, including the winter months, sunny days prevail in Phoenix and the air temperature usually does not drop below +7°C. During the monsoons (possible from July to September) there is strong wind or hail, but tornadoes are rare here.
Now you can get to Phoenix by flying to any of its airports with a flight with transfers (from 2 to 5).
The Phoenix subway system is being replaced by two light rail lines.
You can rent here a small studio or a one-bed apartment with a good repair from $700 per month (without furniture).
