About Us

Our Team

 Carter’s Day Care LLC is a dream come true.  

The CEO is a certified NYC public school teacher with a Master’s Degree in Education, a license in Early Childhood (Birth to second grade)  and Elementary Education(Grades 1st to 6th ). With over 15 years of teaching in The Department of Education, she has created a team qualified to execute the dream and teach our future.

  All staff members have college degrees or are working towards a Bachelor’s Degree, and has experience with providing child care.  We practice and believe, if our children are exposed to cognitive and social emotional development skills during the first three years, we are building the critical foundation for success.  

We offer parent workshops that provide the tools needed to collaboratively build the village to prepare our future leaders.

Carter’s Day Care is invested in our community, children, and families which allows us to bring a unique experience for every family we serve.

The Basics

Carter’s Day Care implements five basics; distilled from research by the Achievement Gap Initiative at Harvard University in collaboration with a national expert advisory committee.  These are science-based strategies for boosting cognitive and social-emotional development of children from birth to age 3.  Working with the families to incorporate these routines in their everyday lives will ensure that all of our children get the best possible start.

Basic 1- Maximize Love, Manage Stress

Babies and toddlers thrive when their world feels loving, safe, and predictable.  We respond with smiles, words, and touch to help them see, hear, and feel the love.  We help them develop a sense of security and self-control.

Basic 2- Talk, Sing, And Point

Babies learn language from the moment they are born.  We are responsive to their sounds, and later their words.  We connect with eye contact and a loving tone of voice, while pointing to assist them with what we are discussing

Basic 3- Count, Group, and Compare

Every child’s brain is wired for math.  We make talking about numbers, shapes, patterns, and comparison a focus to create a love to learn math.

Basic 4- Explore Through Movement and Play

Babies are like scientists who love making discoveries.  We observe what interests each child, then encourage their curiosity and help them learn through purposeful play and exploring.

Basic 5- Read and Discuss Stories

Reading turns kids into confident thinkers.  We make books a regular part of our day.  With our infants, we point to the pictures with excitement and with our toddlers, we make reading fun and enjoyable!

We know our toddlers often refuse to cooperate with adults as they attempt to figure out who they are.  This is a sign of healthy development. We incorporate ways to structure things so that toddlers can be powerful and make choices.  We appreciate their refusals to cooperate as you see them developing their autonomy.

Israel has 150 nuclear weapons in its arsenal, former US President Jimmy Carter said Sunday. At the same time, he noted that the United States needs to conduct direct negotiations with Iran in order to force it to abandon its nuclear ambitions, writes The Times .

The politician made this statement at the Hay-on-Wye festival in Wales dedicated to contemporary literature. Carter’s remarks are unexpected, since Israel has never officially recognized the possession of nuclear weapons (with the exception of the so-called “Olmert nuclear clause” ) and has not reported how many there are. Nevertheless, the world assumes that the country has nuclear weapons.

US officials have also never publicly deviated from the official Israeli line. Carter, who after leaving the presidency at 19In 1981, he was actively involved in Palestinian-Israeli relations, he was very critical of Israeli settlers in the West Bank of the Jordan and Israel’s refusal to negotiate with representatives of the Islamic party Hamas that won the election. At the same time, the American politician noted that the main issue for him is the security of Israel.

Carter, whose presidency was marked by a 444-day saga with 52 US diplomats being held hostage in Iran in 1979, now said: “Today I will advise the United States to start negotiations with Iran” to force the Islamic Republic to abandon nuclear development. He mentioned the Israeli nuclear arsenal, as well as the American, Russian, Chinese, British and French ones, suggesting that it would be almost impossible for Iran to covertly create a significant number of nuclear weapons and missiles to deliver them.

The Israeli authorities do not comment on this speech by Jimmy Carter. Proposed Israeli nuclear arsenal

Western media have previously published various assessments of Israel’s nuclear arsenal. Back in the late 90s, publications appeared that said that the Israelis had about 200 nuclear warheads. nine0003

However, according to a table published on the website of the Federation of American Scientists from a secret report of the US Intelligence Agency, by 1999 Israel had 60-80 nuclear warheads, and by 2020 it will have 65-85.

RULES OF USE OF GIFT CARDS “AUTOMAG”

1. Gift Card “AUTOMAG” – a plastic card certifying the right of its bearer to select and receive any product from the assortment of “AUTOMAG” stores in St. Petersburg, Moscow and the Moscow Region for the amount of its face value once.

2. Gift Cards “AUTOMAG” can be purchased by individuals for cash and non-cash payments. For legal entities, it is possible to purchase by bank transfer on a pre-arranged account or in cash, subject to the limitation of the amount of mutual settlements in cash between legal entities and individual entrepreneurs within the framework of one agreement (Instruction of the Bank of Russia dated 07.10.2013 No. 3073-U “On cash settlements” ).

3. The presenter of the Gift Card can only be an individual who receives goods exclusively for personal, family, household and other needs not related to business activities.

4. A Gift Card is accepted in all AUTOMAG stores, www.amag.ru or amagspb.ru, subject to an order for self-delivery from the AUTOMAG retail network in St. Petersburg, Moscow and the Moscow Region for the amount of its face value

10. In case of loss of the Gift Card, including theft, the card cannot be restored, and the funds remaining on the card cannot be returned, due to the lack of personification of the person who paid for the Gift Card or owned the card before the loss.

11. The Buyer should keep the fiscal sales receipt received by him when purchasing the Gift Card to confirm its face value in case of demagnetization, damage or in case of other disputable situations.

12. The buyer can check the validity period and the balance of the Gift Card at the cash point of the AUTOMAG store or by calling the Customer Service Center: +7 (495) 721-33-33.

13. The Gift Card is used upon receipt of the goods only once, regardless of the size of its face value. The gift card used to pay for goods is confiscated by the cashier of the AUTOMAG store.

14.Gift Card Features:

• If the price of the selected item(s) is lower than the face value of the Gift Card, the balance is not paid in cash. nine0076
• If the price of the selected item(s) is higher than the face value of the Gift Card, the bearer must pay the missing amount. It is allowed to sum up the denominations of several Gift Cards.
• The Gift Card is refundable, the funds paid for it are returned only if there is a document confirming the purchase.
• The validity of the Gift Card is limited and is 2 years, starting from the date of activation (purchase) of the card.

15. When purchasing a Gift Card in a store with cash or bank card payment, a cash receipt is issued.

16. Upon receipt of the selected product, cash receipts are issued, which contain data on the cards used, and indicate the amount of the surcharge, if any.

17. A Gift Card can be presented starting from the next day after its purchase.

18. Owners of Club Cards AUTOMAG:

• When purchasing a Gift Card, it is not possible to apply a discount and accrue/write off Points for the amount paid in cash. nine0076
• When paying for goods with a Gift Card, it is not possible to use the AUTOMAG Club Card (accrual/write-off of Points, application of a discount).
• It is not allowed to use accumulated Points to pay for a part of the purchase amount that exceeds the face value of the Gift Card.
• The purchase amount paid for with Points or a Gift Card will not earn Points.

19. Goods received with a Gift Card must be returned in accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation.

If there are several goods in the KKM check paid for by the Gift Card and Cash (cash/non-cash), when making a partial return of the goods, the paid amount (Gift Card, cash and non-cash Cash) is distributed in proportion to the value of the goods in the sales receipt.

20. The procedure for the return of goods:
