October 10, in the Yakut village of Zhatay near Yakutsk, construction began on the region’s first educational complex “Point of the Future”, the press service of the head and government of Yakutia reports.
Moreover, for the first time in the history of the republic, this complex will be completely created at the expense of private funds – the Novy Dom charitable foundation, owned by businessman Albert Avdolyan .
“Dream School, School of Opportunities”
– Educational complex “Point of Future” in Yakutsk will be the second such in Russia. In 2020, I visited the first complex in Irkutsk and then I was amazed at its scale. At school, everything is created for full-fledged study, creativity, communication, sports and recreation for children. Since the main idea of the project is to create an inclusive environment, children with disabilities will also be able to study here, – told the head of Yakutia Aisen Nikolaev .

He noted that education in the educational complex will be free, it will create all conditions for the realization of the research, creative and professional potential of children.
– “School of Dreams, School of Opportunities” – this is how Irkutsk students and their parents call their complex. And I am very glad that such a school will be built in our republic. I sincerely thank Albert Avdolyan and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Novy Dom Foundation Sergey Viktorovich Chemezov for a wonderful gift for future generations of Yakutia, – sincerely expressed his gratitude to the head of the republic .
According to him, this is not just a social responsibility of business, it is an investment in the future generation, the right approach to the development of education and our entire country.
– When such complexes appear, we see that our country has a future. In the republic, we have always supported education in the most difficult years, I am sure that the facility will be built as soon as possible and will set new standards in the educational process of Yakutia, – sure Nikolaev .

“Such centers may appear in other places”
Sergei Chemezov, the founder of the Novy Dom Foundation, noted that Point of the Future is an example of social responsibility that big business must show.
– We have strong partnership ties with Yakutia. However, now this project no longer has clear territorial boundaries. Any region where local authorities understand the importance and necessity of this work can enter it. Therefore, following the Irkutsk region and Yakutia, such centers may appear in other places, – declared Chemezov .
Albert Avdolyan , a businessman and another founder of the New House Charitable Foundation , recalled that the agreement was signed in 2020 and immediately after that, large-scale work on the project began.
– Behind countless meetings and discussions about what should be the second “Point of the Future” in Russia. The project for construction is ready, I would like to thank everyone who has contributed.
Thanks to the government of Yakutia for their invaluable help, to the residents of the republic for their support and indifference, – said Avdolyan .

What will be inside the complex?
In the new “Point of the Future” on the territory of 26 hectares, modern equipment and furniture will be installed, various laboratories and sports infrastructure will be created, including a sports block with a swimming pool, a gym and a gymnasium.
In addition, a kindergarten, a school building with an administrative building, a pre-school education building for 200 students, school buildings for grades 1-6 for 360 students and 7-11 grades for 480 students, an additional building education, a sports and recreation building, 15 houses for 30 foster families, a 50-apartment campus for teachers, a warm multi-level parking with a bus terminal and other auxiliary and engineering facilities.
