Bay Area Child Care Centers

Our
preschool teaching philosophy is founded on research-based early childhood
literature. BACC follows the California State Standards through the Preschool
Learning Foundation guidelines and the Creative Curriculum for
Preschoolers.  Our framework focuses on
children’s physical development and health; social-emotional development;
language development; cognitive development; and perceptual and motor
development.

We believe that embedded instruction through
a variety of hands-on materials allows for maximum opportunities for child
development through self-exploration and discovery. We aim to prepare children
for kindergarten by exposing them to a wide array of engaging activities.

REQUEST INFORMATION

Our preschool
educational program uses a child-centered curriculum, which focuses on
strengthening early child development and school-readiness to promote
children’s success in school and life.
Our preschool curriculum promotes a multi-modal approach to
learning.

Our preschool curriculum
includes, but is not limited to, listening skill development; math, science,
and literacy skill development; culture and diversity appreciation; art, music
and movement skill development; team-building activities, and self-help skill
development.

Our Brier/Glankler preschool program works in close collaboration with the Glankler Early Learning Center. We provide inclusion opportunity for students with special needs that are enrolled at Glankler. We believe that embedded instruction through a variety of hands-on materials allows for maximum opportunities for child development through self-exploration and discovery.

Our inclusion programming is designed to promote the physical, intellectual, and social-emotional development of each child and follows current literature and best practices.

Teachers and support staff from the Glankler Early Learning Center regularly collaborate with our staff around inclusion programming and on individual students’ needs.

Two Glankler para-educators also work at our facility to assist students with special needs in the after-school program. These para-educators work to encourage children’s language development, socialization,and pre-readiness growth and help in adapting and modifying the environment as needed.

Our preschool program at Steven Millard Elementary is a small program, with fewer than 10 children enrolled each year, on average. This enables teachers to provide one-on-one and small group instruction.

Throughout
the day, we have a variety of different organized activities and projects in
alignment with our monthly and weekly themes. These activities include, but are
not limited to the following:

Arts
and crafts

Cooking

Small
group work time

Outdoor
exploration

A kindergarten was opened in the Ogni Zaliv residential complex

A new modern kindergarten was opened in the first stage of the Ogni Zaliv residential complex, a large-scale complex project on the coast of the Gulf of Finland. A significant event for the Krasnoselsky district was attended by the Vice Governor of St. Petersburg Konstantin Serov, the head of the district Vitaly Cherkashin, and the chairman of the Education Committee Zhanna Vorobyeva. Representatives of the developer, contractor, as well as General Director of Dudergofsky Project LLC (BFA-Development Group of Companies) Dmitry Sukhotin took part in the grand opening of the kindergarten. nine0008

Preschool institution No. 90 with an area of 3,457.8 m², designed for 150 pupils, is located in the built-in premises of two buildings of the Ogni Zaliv residential complex (Krasnoselsky district, Geroev pr., 23).

The kindergarten, built and equipped in accordance with modern requirements and using advanced technologies, provides 8 groups for children from 3 to 7 years old. Bright playrooms with interactive boards, bright rooms, comfortable furniture will make the stay of the kids in the kindergarten of the Ogni Zaliv Residential Complex interesting and rich, cozy and comfortable. In a children’s institution will work:

  • a music room equipped with a piano, tape recorder, children’s musical instruments, bright visual aids, didactic games;
  • gym equipped with sports complexes, large modules, mats, gymnastic benches, balls, rope, jump ropes, hoops, skittles;
  • medical block, which has everything you need for first aid;
  • own kitchen.

Children’s playgrounds, located in the fenced area of the stylobate, are made of durable, environmentally friendly and safe for kids materials. Surveillance cameras are installed around the perimeter, the facility is equipped with fire alarms.

Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg Konstantin Serov conveyed congratulations to educators, parents and children on behalf of the city governor and especially emphasized the merits of the builders.

“The construction work was carried out carefully, responsibly, and completed on time. This is very important, as the population of our city is increasing every year. I hope that the kids will come here with joy, and the teachers will do their best to prepare them for school,” said Konstantin Serov. nine0005

Krasnoselsky District, one of the leaders in housing commissioning, is experiencing an acute shortage of places in kindergartens. In recent years, the population has increased significantly due to the active development of the South-West District of St. Petersburg. The responsibility for getting out of this situation lies with both the city authorities and developers.

Head of the Krasnoselsky District Vitaly Cherkashin stressed the importance of responsible interaction between government and business in the construction of social infrastructure. BFA Development is an example of a trustworthy developer who, in difficult economic conditions, not only meets the deadlines for housing construction, but also puts vital facilities into operation in a timely manner. nine0005

Svetlana Egorova, resident of Ogni Zaliv Residential Complex: “Kindergarten at Ogni Zaliv Residential Complex is clean, new, very beautiful, filled with home comfort, warm and friendly atmosphere. The kindergarten is located right in the building in which we bought an apartment, which saves time on the road. The preschool was built and opened as promised. The most important thing is that BFA Development also takes care of the smallest residents of our complex. Recently, at our request, new playgrounds were installed in the Ogni Zaliv residential complex. The developer has completely renovated the entire gaming complex and the yard area. We are all very pleased!” nine0005

The first kindergarten in Ogni Zaliv residential complex will soon accept new pupils, in subsequent phases it is planned to build a separate kindergarten, two schools, a clinic, a communications facility, and pensions, which will be run by the city. Already, similar social facilities are operating in the neighboring quarter.

Last year, BFA-Development Group of Companies already made a gift to the city and residents of the Kalininsky District – it put into operation a kindergarten in the Academ-Park residential complex on the street. Butlerova, 9, building 4. The developer fulfilled its obligations on time by building a preschool institution for 180 places and transferring it to the balance of the city. The city authorities plan to buy out the kindergarten in the Ogni Zaliv residential complex.

About 70% of buyers of apartments in Ogni Zaliv residential complex are families with children, for whom, first of all, the quality of the living environment within walking distance from home is important.

“Families with children choose high-quality projects, such as the Ogni Zaliv residential complex, which are located in quiet, green and populated areas, where you don’t have to spend a lot of time looking for a grocery store, a good fitness club, and trade and service infrastructure. Families with children need not only a spacious apartment with a convenient layout, but also a place for an evening walk in the fresh air, peace and quiet. The complex is bright and beautiful, the children are surrounded by the aesthetics and comfort of modern buildings,” commented Dmitry Sukhotin, General Director of Dudergofsky Project LLC (part of BFA Development Group). nine0005
