  • Every canine guest begins their visit with a complementary behavioral evaluation to make sure they’re comfortable in this social environment.
  • Individual playtimes are available for those not-so-social butterflies.
  • Daycare groups are separated by size and play style, making sure all guests are comfortable and secure.
  • All dogs are 100% supervised by our highly-trained staff, with a small dogs-to-staff ratio.
  • All play areas are kept clean to veterinary-level standards.
  • Our indoor play room is covered in padded flooring for healthy joints.
  • Dogs enjoy wading pools and spray hoses to stay cool on hot days. Plus, our porch and many of our yards are shaded.

Benefits of Dog Daycare at Pet Resort in the Garden

Doggie daycare provides ideal physical and mental stimulation that can greatly improve your dog’s overall wellbeing.

Social play will keep your dog from growing bored. Boredom often leads to undesirable behaviors like excessive chewing and barking.

Daycare is a fully-supervised place for your pet to enjoy exercise, socialization and entertainment.

Socialization is key to a well-adjusted and confident dog. Our playgroups create a safe, interactive environment for dogs to build confidence and learn to better navigate the world around them.

Exercise is crucial to a dog’s physical health, including weight management and healthy joints.

Canine Guests Vaccination and Health Requirements For Dog Daycare

For the health and safety of our canine guests and care team members, we require the following medical protocol:

  • Rabies 1 or 3 yr
  • DHPP 1 or 3 yr
  • Bordetella within 1 yr
  • Fecal exam to check for parasites within 1 yr
  • Both strains of the Canine Influenza (h4N8 & h4N2) within 1 yr

Vaccinations less than 6 months past due, may be updated upon arrival by our on-site veterinarians during a Pet Resort stay. Vaccinations which have never been administered previously or which are more than 6 months past due, require a 7 day waiting period before the pet is allowed into the facility.

Please also note the following health requirements:

  • Pets showing signs of illness will not be allowed to enter the premises.
  • Pets recently rescued from a shelter or foster may require a 3 week waiting period.
  • Pets exhibiting aggression toward people or other pets may not be allowed, but will be assessed individually prior to scheduling.

Welcome to Abingdon Pre-K!

Our students participate in a variety of learning activities through exploration, play and direct learning.

Key components of our program:

  1. Literacy block, SWPL and story time
  2. Counting math every day
  3. High volume group time and plan-do-review

The first component consists of activities that include knowledge of the alphabet, vocabulary, comprehension and other language skills. Our curriculum includes the Opening the World of Learning (OWLS) literacy program, the Alligators and Zucchini Literacy Kit, Handwriting Without Tears and Words Your Way, phonetic learning, vocabulary, and spelling training. Knowledge and skills are assessed using PALS tests and job sample reports. The second component consists of activities involving numbers, quantities, patterns, and comparisons. The curriculum includes daily math classes and daily calendar classes. Knowledge and skills are assessed using math checklists and work sample reports. The third component consists of activities in which students build knowledge by participating in a personal game. These activities offer a wide range of materials and techniques that encourage children’s creativity and problem solving. During planning-doing-review, children participate in play in four different areas of our class: block area, home area, play area, and art area. Our goal throughout the year is to provide students with experience and knowledge. the skills you need to succeed in kindergarten and beyond! nine0003

        Touches the soul

This is exactly how a memorial of sorrow should look like. Each small pool of water is a memory of a person. Everything shrinks inside when you see the girl’s name 1998 year of birth. It was especially important for me to see that each one was mentioned separately. This, perhaps, is an indicator of democratic values. Like Arlington Cemetery, this place is worth a visit to get a better understanding of the country’s culture.

        Thoughtful Monument

Air Force Memorial opened in October 2006. In my opinion, a very well thought out complex. Firstly, it is clearly visible from afar, which is symbolic, because. planes are usually also clearly visible against the sky. nine0158 Second, the image accurately depicts a “bomb detonation” maneuver performed by the US Air Force’s “Puffins” demonstration squadron.
Thirdly, all the monuments installed at the foot of the steel spiers are not accidental and organically fit into the complex.
