Georgia Andresen, Preschool Director
[email protected]
Georgia has been working with children for many years in different capacities: classroom aid, tutor, nanny, ABA Behavior Therapist. She joined the Action Day Primary Plus team in June of 2019 as an infant teacher at the Allen Campus. While working in the infant center, she went back to school to become a fully qualified Preschool teacher. In January of 2020, she moved into a Jr. Kindergarten teaching position, also at the Allen campus. When the pandemic hit, Georgia was one of the teachers at Allen that helped ADPP in their launch of the Jr. K Distance Learning Program. In the Summer of 2021, Georgia moved into the Bookkeeping position, which helped her transition into Preschool Director in Fall of 2021. Georgia is very passionate about helping children foster a love for learning from an early age, and is excited for all that lie ahead for the Action Day Primary Plus families.
Audry Carbajal, Infant Center Director

In August 2018, she joined our Allen office as an Office Administrator, which paved the way for her transition as Allen Infant Center Director in October 2021. Audry strives to provide individualized care for children in a safe and nurturing environment.
Allen School History
In November 2005 the Allen School site opened its doors to accept Infants, Preschool, and Extended Day children. The Allen School is located in the Almaden Valley, San Jose, near Oakridge Mall. The eight acres provide lots of outdoor space for all ages. Children are divided into age groups for various infant, preschool, and extended day activities. Dance, sports, and enrichment activities are available. Expected growth for Fall, 2006 will include Junior Kindergarten.
The school provides an educational setting that is staffed with warm, personally interested adults who give the students the message that learning is exciting and important. The teachers attempt to establish a learning environment that will allow the children to experience the maximum amount of success possible.
Enrichment
West Valley Dance Company offers a wide selection of dance classes year-round for all ages, from 18 months to school age at all ADPP locations. Offering a professional education that caters to individual pace and growth, our roots are in the passion of teaching, and the staff at WVDC understands the importance of a child’s development at any age – ensuring our lessons go beyond those of the dance studio. Our staff will collect your child from their classroom and walk them to their onsite studio. At the end of class, they will walk them back to their classroom.

The missing boy was found
Neither the caregivers nor his parents knew that the child was missing.

Every morning in the Allen family from the town of Kalamazoo in Michigan started the same way. Papa Geoffrey put his 4-year-old son Jazir on the school bus at exactly 8.30 in the morning, waved goodbye to him and went about his business, and at this time the transport delivered the boy to the kindergarten. But at the end of March, everything did not go according to plan – Jazir did not enter the building of the educational institution.
Around 11:00 a.m., the boy was found walking along the side of a busy road by an unfamiliar woman. The child looked confused and she stopped the car to ask the child a few questions. As the American later told in an interview with the CBS news service, the baby did not want to get into the car. But the woman could not just sit down and leave, leaving the child alone on the street, and began to convince Jazir that she wanted to help him and would not harm him.
At some point the boy gave up and threw himself into the woman’s arms. She called the police, who quickly arrived at the scene and took the child to her grandmother – Stephanie Allen. She, in turn, contacted her daughter, Jazira’s mother, Evelize E’Laishia, who was sleeping off her night shift. The woman could not believe what she was hearing. “It’s not something you want to wake up with… They suddenly tell me that my son was wandering alone along a busy road. I am very grateful to the people who found him, because there is a possibility that I could never see him again, ”says Evelise.
Jazeer Allen
According to the police report, Jazeer was about one kilometer away from the kindergarten. The boy wandered along the road, and if he stepped on it even for a minute, everything could end in tragedy. In addition, the Kalamazoo River flows on the other side of the city, which also poses a danger to the child.
Nobody knew about the disappearance of the boy. According to the child himself, he got off the school bus, when suddenly the driver “left and did not return.” Grandmother Jazira suggests that her grandson could fall asleep on the way and leave the bus much later than the others. Without seeing the children around, he could get confused and go the other way. After the police handed over her son to Evelise, she went to the kindergarten to discuss what had happened with the management. To her surprise, the administration began to assure her that the boy was with other children in the class.
