Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Tattoo Goo Deep Cleansing Soap for Tattoos and Piercings: Chloroxylenol (0. 5%), Tattoo Goo Renew Tattoo Enhancing Lotion with SPF 30: Homosalate (10%), Octinoxate (5.0%), Avobenzone (3.0%), Tattoo Goo Deep Cleansing Soap for Tattoos and Piercings Purpose: Antibacterial, Tattoo Goo Renew Tattoo Enhancing Lotion with SPF 30 Purpose: Sunscreen, Inactive Ingredients: Tattoo Goo Deep Cleansing Soap for Tattoos and Piercings Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Sodium PEG-7 Olive Oil Carboxylate, Propanediol, Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Polyquaternium 10, Cocoamide MEA, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Diazolidinyl Urea, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Tattoo Goo Renew Tattoo Enhancing Lotion with SPF 30 Water (Aqua), Butyloctyl Salicylate, Glycerin, Cetearyl Olivate, Ethylhexyl Methoxycrylene, Sorbitan Olivate, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Undecylcrylene Dimethicone, Xanthan Gum, C24-28 Alkyldimethylsiloxy Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Isododecane, Polysorbate 20, Silica, Olea Europaea (Olive), Fruit Oil, Diazolidinyl Urea, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Panthenol, Retinyl Palmitate, Tocopherol

Directions

Directions: Tattoo Goo Deep Cleansing Soap for Tattoos and Piercings: Three to four times daily for tatttos, one to two times daily for piercings. Squeeze into palm of hand. Work up lather in hands. Gently rub lather over tattoo or piercing. Cold water rinse, pat, then air dry. Tattoo Goo Renew Tattoo Enhancing Lotion with SPF 30: Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply: after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating. Immediately after towel drying at least every 2 hours. Sun Protection Measures: spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in sun, especially from 10 am – 2 pm; wear long sleeve shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses. A tattoo is a simple abrasion. It may bleed a bit at first, but will stop within a couple of hours. Most artists recommend the tattoo be kept bandaged overnight or at least a few hours. If gauze sticks to the skin, wet the area with lukewarm water, then remove the gauze carefully. Once the tattoo is exposed, wash it carefully in warm water, gently applying antibacterial soap such as Tattoo Goo Deep Cleansing Soap with fingers, (never use a cloth), to remove all surface blood. Rinse with warm water, pat dry with a clean towel and air-dry for 15 minutes. Then, gently apply a thin layer of Tattoo Goo Salve or lotion sparingly. Repeat 3-4 times a day for 7-10 days. After 5-14 days, the tattoo may start to peel (this is normal like a sunburn) and scab. Do not pick or peel the skin away. Let it fall off naturally during washing or application of Tattoo Goo. Fresh skin will soon replace the dead skin. Colors may fad during the process, but will return when healing is completed. Tattoo Goo Salve and Lotion keep your tattoos from drying and keep the skin areas soft and moist. Always apply sparingly. Too much prevents the skin/tattoo from breathing and can cause leaching of the colors. If this happens, discontinue use, wash the tattoo, pat dry, and consult your tattoo artist at your earliest convenience. After a few weeks, all scabbing will be gone but the area may still be sensitive. Continue regular cleaning and application of Tattoo Goo Salve or Lotion for the life of your tattoo. Exposure to the sun is the major cause of tattoo fading, but after a few months you may sunbathe in moderation. Protect your tattoo from the sun with Tattoo Goo Renew Lotion with SPF 30. Do’s and Don’ts for your new tattoo: Do not re-bandage the tattoo. Do not apply lanolin or petroleum based products. Do not apply alcohol. Do not rub, scratch or pick at the tattoo. Do not expose the tattoo to direct sunlight or UV tanning lights. Do not swim, take baths, or soak in a sauna for two weeks. Be sure clothing touching your tattoo is clean and soft. Good for 24 months once opened. Tattoo Goo Renew Tattoo Enhancing Lotion with SPF 30: Children Under 6 Months: Ask a doctor.

Lips come in all shapes and sizes. Thus, everyone has different concerns about how their lips look. Some are satisfied with their appearance, while others find that their lips could use some work to help them reach their full potential. If you’re looking for a treatment that can enhance the appearance of your lips, it’s helpful to know about aftercare recommendations before you decide on a treatment. In what follows, you can find helpful information on what to expect both during and after lip filler treatment, including general aftercare recommendations.

What can I expect for my first visit?

Every patient has unique needs and goals for lip filler treatment, so each treatment session is different. Still, there are things that any patient can expect to happen during their lip filler treatment. The first thing that will happen for any patient considering lip filler treatment is an initial consultation with your lip filler specialist.

During this consultation, your provider will conduct a thorough analysis of your treatment needs, medical history, and lip health to ensure you can safely receive treatment and establish a plan to achieve your goals for treatments.

After the consultation, lip filler treatment will proceed as long as you approve the treatment plan. There are many different types of lip fillers, so the specific ingredients used in the filler will depend on what product you choose. That said, the procedure will begin with your lip filler specialist cleaning the area with a disinfectant and possibly applying an anesthetic to minimize discomfort.

Around 15 to 30 minutes after applying the anesthetic, they will inject the filler into your lips with a small needle or a micro cannula. They will make sure your lips are numb before proceeding with this step. They may inject the filler into the edges of your lips, the center of your upper lip, and the corners where both lips meet. These areas are also known as your vermillion border, Cupid’s bow, and your oral commissures.

As they inject the filler, you may experience a slight pinching sensation, causing your eyes to water. Your lip filler specialist will then massage your lips to ensure the filler distributes evenly throughout your lips.

What should you not do after lip fillers?

Some things to avoid after lip fillers include:

– Using an exfoliating product or cleaning brush for 24 hours after treatment
– Having a facial massage for at least two weeks after treatment
– Drinking through a straw for the day after treatment to avoid pressure on your lips
– Drinking alcohol for 24 hours after treatment
– Exercising excessively for at least 24 hours after treatment
– Taking medications that thin your blood, such as Aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like advil
– Applying lipstick, lip balm or other lip products for 24 hours after treatment

You should also drink plenty of water after treatment and be gentle when brushing your teeth to avoid injuring your lips.

How long does it take lip fillers to settle in?

Your lips will look fuller immediately after lip filler treatment, but this is mainly due to swelling. After the swelling goes down, it will take approximately four weeks for the lip filler to settle in with your desired results. The length of time the filler results last depends on the product you’re using, but can last anywhere from six to 18 months.

How to reduce swelling after fillers?

Some swelling, bruising, and minor bleeding at injection sites are common after lip filler treatment. However, these side effects are temporary and should not cause you any extended issues. The swelling should go down within two to three days and completely subside within two weeks. To reduce swelling, you can apply ice wrapped in a towel or cold compress to your lips. It’s also recommended to sleep with your head elevated to limit blood flow and fluid retention in your lips overnight.

character, dog training, care and health

Dobermann is a serious service breed with first-class protective, search and guard qualities, expressed by endurance, physical strength and the ability to act independently in stressful situations. As conceived by the breeders, the Doberman breed was to become a real service elite. However, in recent years, the dog is increasingly being adopted as a companion pet in city apartments. And in the breed standard there was a mention of loyalty to children. Is this really so – we talk about the peculiarities of keeping Dobermans in the role of a family dog and the mistakes in education that are typical for beginners.

Country of origin: Germany
Breed birth time: late 19th century
Size: medium
Wool: short, no undercoat
Weight: 40-50 kg for male and 32-35 kg for female
Height (height at withers): 68-72 cm male and 63-68 cm female
Lifespan: 9-12 years old
Walk requirement: 2 hours per day

Key qualities

– High intelligence. Dobermans are ranked 5th in the ranking of the most intelligent dog breeds on the Coren scale. The dog has an analytical mind, is able to follow a series of complex commands, works at a fast pace and can make independent decisions. Especially in emergency situations that require help and protection from the pet.

– Developed protective instinct. Even an untrained dog will protect the owner and members of his family when a potential danger appears. The main thing is to teach him to do it right.

– Stable mind. Dobermans remain calm in stressful situations, easily get excited and calm down on command.

– Single owner orientation. Dobermans are ready to obey only one owner. The transfer of control to other family members will be only conditional. The dog will not refuse to follow the basic command, but it will not be possible to achieve perfect obedience.

– Activity. The breed is designed for mobile people who are ready to provide the dog with daily physical activity and walks at a fast pace.

– The need for early socialization. A dog needs to be accustomed to society, introduced to new people and animals, taught to distinguish danger from simple everyday communication.

– Low frost resistance. In the cold season, dogs will have to be dressed in a warm blanket or overalls and make sure that the animal does not lie down on the snow. Aviary content is not allowed.

– The need for professional training. Dobermans confidently pass the general course of training and protective guard service, show good results in cynological sports and work freely on dog grounds. The main thing is that the dog feels its need and benefit.

– Stubbornness. Dobermans can insist on their own, question the leadership qualities of the owner and refuse uninteresting work. To train a Doberman, you need experience or a course with a cynologist.

– Low tendency to bark, dig holes and salivate. With proper education, a dog can be kept in an apartment building.

– Not recommended for inexperienced owners. Representatives of the breed need a strict but fair leader with a strong character and experience in training. Otherwise, the animal will grow up wayward and uncontrollable, and can be a potential danger to both strangers and family members.

History of the breed

Dobermans are a combination of German Pinscher, Old German Shepherd, Manchester Terrier and several types of hounds. However, the key role in the formation of the Doberman remains with the so-called “butcher’s dogs” – a hybrid of an early Rottweiler and a Thuringia Shepherd in black with copper tan. At the same time, the share of influence of a particular breed remains unknown.

Dobermann is the only German dog breed named after its creator, Friedrich Louis Dobermann, tax collector, slaughterhouse owner and stray dog catcher. It was from their population that the first material was selected to create a new species.

According to the original idea of Mr. Dobermann, the breed was to become a guardian. In other words, to have a certain degree of ferocity, fearlessness and a flexible mind that allows you to act not only on command, but also on the basis of your own decisions. In the future, these qualities will come in handy more than once in the service of the police. Dobermans will be called a gendarmerie dog. And during the Second World War, they will be chosen as the official fighting dog of the US Marine Corps for clearing shells and patrolling the territories.

Today, Dobermans are ranked among the most intelligent dogs in the world. Representatives of the breed take 5th place in the ranking of the most intelligent dogs on the Koren scale and are recognized by the International Cynological Organization (FCI). And all this despite a relatively short period of existence. We remind you that the first litter of Dobermans was bred in the mid-1880s.

What a Doberman looks like

Dobermann is a powerful, athletic dog with elegant and noble body lines and correct posture. When viewed from the front and from above, the body appears almost square. The head is wedge-shaped and dry. The occipital protuberance is not expressed. The transition from the forehead to the skull and from the skull to the shoulders is smooth and harmonious.

The representative of the Doberman breed moves with a free sweeping step, slightly springy with his hind legs and swinging forward with his front ones. The fore and hind limbs move in such a way that the front leg on the right side steps in sync with the hind leg on the left.

Temperament

Dobermans have a moderate excitability that allows them to hear the owner’s commands in an emergency. At the same time, they remain quite emotional and empathic.

A dog can be kind and accommodating, or, on the contrary, show aggression and willfulness. The line of behavior depends on the temperament of a particular individual and its gender. However, the pronounced predominance of certain traits is considered to be a breed marriage. In the right Doberman, they should be in balance and appear in response to the appropriate stimulus.

In relation to the owner, the pet plays the role of an active assistant. Representatives of the breed are created for constant interaction. Therefore, spending the evening in front of the TV instead of a grueling walk will not work. The Doberman needs to move a lot and complete tasks.

At the sight of a stranger, a representative of the breed may become alert or indicate a potential danger with his voice. This is perfectly acceptable. The main thing is that the dog does not confuse a direct threat with simple everyday communication. Otherwise, meeting old acquaintances who want to hug you may result in undesirable consequences.

When interacting with children, Dobermans are unpredictable. In most cases, the dog reacts to them neutrally and even protects in case of danger. But sometimes a child becomes an easy target for attack. And all because sudden movements and a loud cry provoke natural instincts in the animal, and an untrained dog can attack the baby, mistaking him for a threat. It is not recommended to bring a Doberman into a family with children under 10 years old. However, Dobermans get along well with older children.

Education and training

To maintain psychological health, a dog needs a full-fledged service. Dobermans feel confident and calm only if they do the job for which they were created. For example, they guard an object, search for objects, accompany a valuable cargo, or pursue a goal. If you imitate these activities in everyday life and on a walk, the pet will be mature and sedate, as prescribed by the breed standard.

If you train a dog every once in a while or suppress its nature altogether, unspent energy will result in nervousness and increased alertness, which often leads to the rejection of the animal in adulthood.

According to statistics, Dobermans join the ranks of “refuseniks” no less than dogs of aboriginal breeds or fighters. The ferocious unbridled temper that awakens in puppies at the time of puberty frightens the owners, and the animals often end up in a shelter.

What to look for

Aviary. Do not keep your dog in an enclosure. Closed space loosens the psyche and destroys the emotional connection with the owner. Dobermans are partnership oriented and should be by your side at all times.

Muzzle. Train your Doberman to wear a muzzle as early as childhood, while food motivation is strong and you can put it on your pet for a piece. Most importantly, do not leave the muzzle on the dog for a long time. In any training, you need to start small. <.p>

The muzzle must be soft and tight on the muzzle. Do not buy a model with an iron frame. At the moment of a jerk and an attempt to bite, the iron bars can be deformed and injure both the dog and the potential victim.

Tray of items. Don’t give the Doberman a treat for an item tray. This will reduce the game motivation and there will be less control levers for the animal. The representative of the breed must fetch the item and hand it over voluntarily. If the animal refuses to open its jaws, apply light pressure to the area under the chin. When the item is in your hands, praise generously and continue the game until the animal begins to give the item without mechanical correction.

Harness. Do not put the dog in a harness before 8-9 months. Towing loads is harmful to fragile joints and leads to their deformation.

Tagging game. Hold a toy in each hand and tease your dog alternately. This will increase the grasping reflex and make playing with the Doberman more dynamic. Remember to give in and let the puppy win. This builds his self-confidence and makes him calmer.

Sofa. Don’t let your Doberman get on the couch or sleep in the owner’s bed. If a representative of the breed rises to the same level as a person, the strength of his authority is no longer so obvious.

Passing the course of protective guard service (ZKS). Pass the ZKS only after successfully completing the general training course. In order to pass protective guard duty without consequences for strangers and family members, a representative of the Doberman breed must obey the owner implicitly.

Playing with other dogs. Choose your own play partners. Dogs that are ready to withstand the pressure of a Doberman must develop good speed and be non-aggressive. Consider breeds such as the Labrador, Golden Retriever or Border Collie. The main thing is not to let the Doberman go to play with other animals for more than 8-10 minutes. This destroys the bond with the owner and makes the dog less obedient.

Negative reinforcement. Give mechanical correction only if absolutely necessary. For example, when showing aggression towards the owner or family members. Other unwanted behavior is corrected by voice and the use of negative markers.

If a Doberman lies on his back with his belly exposed, everything is fine. This gesture demonstrates submission. So, you are on the right track and your authority is beyond doubt.

Care and maintenance

Dobermann is a dog with short hair without undercoat. Therefore, care consists in weekly combing out the fallen hairs with a rubber massage brush and polishing the coat with wet wipes for animals or dry shampoo. No more manipulations are needed.

You can bathe a Doberman no more than once every six months. At the same time, in the summer, the dog can swim in open water.

It is enough to clean the ears and eyes once a week. To do this, you need a cleansing lotion from a pet store or plain boiled water. The main thing is to make sure that the discharge does not increase, and that they do not change color.

To strengthen your teeth and gums, buy vein bones and special dry food with an abrasive to remove plaque. It is needed to prevent the formation of tartar and inflammation of the gums. Also, teeth are cleaned with a special veterinary paste with the taste of meat or poultry. But if the back teeth are still dirty, contact your veterinarian. The doctor will clean them with ultrasound.

Trim the nails as the triangular tip grows. If it becomes too long, the claws begin to knock on the floor and the position of the paw changes: it becomes difficult for the Doberman to walk, and in a neglected situation, the elbows and spine are deformed. And all due to the fact that dogs are digitigrade creatures, and they rely on the fingers, not the feet, when walking.

Health and disease

Strong immunity and natural endurance accompany Dobermans throughout their life. However, it is difficult to insure against genetic diseases. Therefore, it is better not to delay the health check and examine the puppy immediately after purchase and every subsequent year of life.

Below is a list of diseases that are more common in Dobermans:

  • heart disease;
  • poor blood clotting;
  • dislocations and displacements of joints;
  • allergy;
  • congenital lameness;
  • hypothyroidism;
  • gastric volvulus;
  • narcolepsy.

A number of diseases on the list can be prevented by a healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet. For example, based on Purina PRO PLAN Large Athletic. Rulers for athletic dog breeds will help maintain joint health. At the same time, they will saturate the body with energy without overeating and gaining excess mass. The daily requirement for KBZhU is determined taking into account the age, weight and health of the Doberman. It remains for the owner to measure the right amount of feed, following the instructions on the package.

If the Doberman eats “natural” food, you need foods with easily digestible protein – for example, rabbit, salmon, veal, as well as cereals, seasonal vegetables and a vitamin and mineral complex selected by a veterinarian. When drawing up a diet based on natural nutrition, you will need to consult with a veterinarian.

Memo to the owner

How to choose a Doberman puppy

  1. Check the kennel. The kennel must be a member of the national cynological organization of the country of breeding, recognized by the world cynological community. In Russia, this is the Russian Cynological Federation (RKF). To check the kennel, visit the website of the International Cynological Federation (FCI) and type in the name of the kennel in Latin letters. If the name is on the FCI lists, the initial check has been passed and you can consider a litter from this breeder without fear. If a breeder claims to be a member of a non-FCI canine organization and is willing to provide a kennel pedigree, beware. Such organizations do exist. But their genealogies have no legal force. Therefore, the animal will not be able to participate in exhibitions and breeding work. At the same time, you run the risk of acquiring a mestizo that has nothing in common with a thoroughbred Doberman.
  2. Read the documents. Before you go to the kennel, ask the breeder to send a standard contract for the transfer of rights to the puppy to the new owner. This document may be provided by e-mail for preliminary review and correction. When visiting a kennel, ask for a certificate of registration of its name, pedigrees of the parent couple and puppy metrics. All documents must be printed on RKF letterhead and submitted in original. To verify authenticity, look for a hologram with the RKF emblem depicting a greyhound on the form. Exception: the pedigree of a parent that belongs to another cattery and is not currently available. In this case, a copy is sufficient.
  3. Check the metric. The metric is issued by the club that registered the mating and litter, and must reflect the puppy’s name, date of birth, names and pedigree numbers of the parent pair, brand or microchip number. The puppy metric is subject to exchange for the RKF pedigree and is valid for 15 months. If you do not make an exchange within the specified period, the representative of the breed will be left without documents. The procedure for exchanging “puppies” for a pedigree is considered the responsibility of the owner. Registration of a litter in the RKF is the responsibility of the cattery.
  4. Request medical test results. Breeding dogs must be tested for genetic, viral and infectious diseases and have fresh vaccinations.
  5. Check the puppy’s veterinary passport. Give preference to puppies vaccinated at public veterinary clinics. With them, it is easier to issue certificates for exhibitions and taking the dog abroad.
  6. Pay attention to the conditions of detention. Dobermans must not be in cages. There should be water bowls, toys and diapers in the room so that puppies can go to the toilet in the apartment until they are released from quarantine after vaccination.
  7. Meet a couple of manufacturers. Ask the breeder to show the bitch who has given birth and the stud dog. If one of the parents is unavailable, ask for photos and videos of the parent to assess the anatomy and qualities of the breed. A thoroughbred Doberman should behave with concentration and restraint, not show unmotivated aggression and obey at a distance. Take an interest in the principles of selecting a male for mating. Make sure that the family line does not suffer from inbreeding – mating of individuals that are closely related.
  8. Evaluate the behavior and appearance of the puppies. A thoroughbred Doberman puppy should have a square body, strong legs and powerful jaws. The body is athletic, as if poured. Ears and tail – docked or left as at birth. Please note: in a number of countries representatives of the breed with cropped ears and tail are not allowed to participate in exhibitions. Among them are Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Israel, Ireland, Luxembourg, Norway.
  9. Select gender. Doberman males are more rigid and wayward, therefore they tend to question the leadership qualities of the owner and are less amenable to training. Especially when they are under the control of a person with no experience.
