Where to get a job after school

  • Where to get a job after school

When the final exams are passed, the question arises – where to get a job after school? Most of the graduates apply to the university of their choice, but a very large number of yesterday’s schoolchildren want to try themselves as an employee of some company. Work without education interests many people mainly as a temporary one, until a decision about something more matures. And there is a fairly large demand for such workers in Russia. We are not talking about prestigious specialties and high fees, but if you wish, for a real one you can earn an amount that will provide all your needs and interests. The types of activities possible to work with a diploma of secondary education are traditionally divided into physical work and intellectual work. nine0011

Physical labor

For physically strong children, work as a laborer at a construction site is quite suitable, especially if you wish, having better understood the construction process, you can go to study for the prestigious professions of a roofer or a bricklayer. They will gladly accept a strong young man or girl in a farm, in an office – as a cleaner, in a management company – as a janitor, etc. Real men who are not afraid of overloads can make good money by unloading goods, the main thing here is not to undermine their health. Young people and girls are welcomed in restaurants and cafes, there is always a need for waiters, bartenders, dishwashers, administrators. For those who like big stores, a job in a supermarket is suitable – a cashier, a merchandiser, a sales assistant, etc. However, some positions imply financial responsibility, and in this case, the real earnings are very small, money is deducted from the salary for goods stolen in the store, etc. Former schoolchildren may be interested in the profession of a courier or furniture assembler, there is always a demand for them. nine0011

Mental work

Those who prefer mental work also have plenty to choose from. For advanced computer scientists, the road to the IT field is open. It is unlikely that you will be able to get a job in a large company, but in small and medium-sized people there will always be a vacancy for people who know a computer. Those who want to work in the office will be interested in the vacancy of an assistant manager or secretary. For those who gravitate towards trade, there are professions of a sales assistant, sales representative, etc. Often, yesterday’s graduates are hired as dispatchers in call centers or a taxi service. Young people with a creative streak will be able to realize themselves as a freelancer in many areas – as a copywriter, hand-maker, confectioner, etc. The choice of work after school is quite large, everyone can find a job to their liking. nine0011

Study or work? Where can a student work and study at the same time?

sample

The life of a graduate is difficult, because after graduation you will have to make difficult choices. Why? Because your future career depends on whether you study or work in education. nine0011

Of course, after school you can work and study in absentia. However, not everyone can do it equally easily. However, as well as working and studying full-time – even flies die from this, not like poor students.

So, we are solving the problem that has been tormenting all applicants and graduates for a long time.

Which is better: studying or working after school?

Work or study?

Of course, it is better to try to combine study and work. And that’s why.

  1. If you go to work right after school, then after a while you get a lot of experience and money. All this is necessary to satisfy their basic needs for food, accommodation, clothing, and so on. However, a person who immediately after school went to work has no career prospects. nine0004
  2. If you go to university right after school, then you instantly get a reprieve from the army, as well as many years of fun, almost carefree life. However, when students graduate from the university, they become frustrated. They are even less prepared for adult life than those schoolchildren who just took a walk at the last call. Graduates graduate without any experience, and even if they manage to find a job more or less quickly, it will be one of the lowest paid.
  3. nine0150

So it’s still better to try to combine these two activities, at least to some extent. And how to do this, we will tell further.

    Standard working day for students

Of course, only part-time students can afford such a luxury. Agree – it is impossible to go to a regular job from 9.00 to 17.30 at the same time and attend couples at the same time.

And if you are puzzled over whether it is possible to study and work at the same time, and on a full-time basis, then choose the correspondence form of education. In this case, neither work will interfere with studies, nor vice versa. Just pre-negotiate with the employer the conditions of leave for the session. nine0011

Distance learning has certain drawbacks. For example, this way you can hardly fully enjoy all the delights of student life.

Part-time or night work for students

    Job options for students

It is extremely important where you work while you are studying. If you are a full-time student, but are in dire need of money or a full-time job, then it is better to stay on a daily, but night or part-time job. nine0011

Where can you go to work after school if you are a full-time student:

    • bartender,
    • watchman,
    • waiter,
    • seller,
    • tanker and so on.

Here you can choose absolutely any specialty that will not interfere with your daily attendance of lectures and seminars and cause the anger of teachers.

If you take a night job, you will have to solve an unpleasant problem that can negatively affect your studies: how to get enough sleep and come to school rested after a night shift? nine0187

If you have a good relationship with the headman, agree with him on “agreed” passes of the first classes – you will get enough sleep, and he will not notice your absence.

If you still can’t manage to combine work and study normally, take a closer look at a worthy alternative – work for students on weekends. Such a schedule does not interfere with learning and allows you to adjust your own workload and daily routine at your own discretion.

    Evening work for full-time students

If you want to study, go to work in the evening! This is a great option, since part-time work:

    • does not interfere with rest after school;
    • does not interfere with studies;
    • brings in enough money as opposed to weekend or seasonal work.

Of course, working as a poster, waiter, or promoter won’t give you professional experience or enhance your prestige. However, any work experience is great! In addition, such work brings a stable income. And you help your parents by not giving them the opportunity to pay for everything instead of you. nine0011

Ideally, of course, study and work in your specialty. So even if you have not learned the seminar or are poorly versed in theory, practice and understanding it will help you get out of any difficult situation.
