  • At ABC Growing Tree, we thrive on providing a family type
environment with caregivers, teachers, and administrators that are
devoted to each child. Our focus is to offer a loving, safe, and
clean environment for the children, while meeting the needs of the
parents, who are continuing with their career or are enjoying other
outside activities. The aim of our program is for children to learn
by having fun. Our curriculum is designed to stimulate the child’s
social, emotional, and physical development. Our state-approved
curriculum program was designed to incorporate each developmental
stage of the child. We have developed a curriculum to include
cool-cooking projects, computers, and foreign language. We have
also incorporated Mayer-Johnson software into our daily activities.
Although this software was originally designed for children with
special needs, the Mayer-Johnson software has been proven to
stimulate every child’s language arts development with the use of
    pictures and the written word.

3.6.3. Labor protection requirements when landing dangerous trees, as well as trees that threaten the movement of trains \ Consultant Plus

3.6.3. Labor protection requirements when landing dangerous

trees, as well as trees that threaten the movement of trains

3.6.3.1. It is allowed to remove trees hanging on other trees only in the presence and under the supervision of the work manager. The method of removing a hung tree is chosen by the work manager.

Hanging trees should be removed with a tractor or a winch from a distance of at least 35 m.

3.6.3.2. For landing dangerous trees, only felling forks are used. The use of other felling devices is prohibited.

3.6.3.3. Landing dangerous trees should be carried out in a snowless period or with a snow depth of no more than 30 cm.

3.6.3.4. Landing dangerous trees should be carried out in the gaps between neighboring trees.

3.6.3.5. Before felling, each tree must be carefully examined, paying attention to the location of rot, dry branches, the slope of the tree, and check the stability of the shaft with a fork. Before testing for stability, it is not allowed to go under the crown of the tree.

3.6.3.6. When felling dangerous trees, it is forbidden to cut with an ax, as they can suddenly collapse upon impact.

3.6.3.7. Hanging branches and tops of trees must be removed with a felling fork or pole, being on the side of the tree where there are no hanging branches. When cutting trees, workers should be on the opposite side in relation to the hanging branches. At the slightest sign of falling hanging branches or tree tops, you must immediately stop sawing and move along a previously prepared path at a distance of at least 5 m.

3.6.3.8. Of two or more dangerous trees in the neighborhood, those that pose the greatest danger are to be felled first.

3.6.3.9. Felling of upright trees with one-sided external rot is carried out with a notch in the direction of rot. In trees with internal rot, the notches are cut to rot.

3.6.3.10. Hanging trees that do not require much effort are removed using a gate. One end of the rope or rope is attached to the butt of the tree being removed, the other to the end of the lever. The lever is brought in behind a healthy growing tree at a distance of 10 – 15 m from the one being removed and rotated around the trunk. The tree is pulled along the axis of its hanging or at an angle of 90 degrees.

3. 6.3.11. To fasten a hand winch when removing a hung tree, it is necessary to use a growing tree with a diameter of 24 – 32 cm with a healthy trunk and a strong root system at a distance of 10 – 15 m from the butt of the tree to be removed.

3.6.3.12. To create significant efforts to remove a hung tree, the crown of which is intertwined with the crown of a growing one, you should use a tractor. The butt of the tree must be hooked to the tractor, which must drive off to the length of the traction rope and pull the tree along the hovering axis or at an angle of 90 degrees. The length of the traction rope must be at least 35 m. Each tree must be removed separately.

If a hung tree has a scrap at a low height that has not separated from the stump, it is also hooked with a tractor, at the place of the break, a notch and cut are made from the sides, leaving an undercut of 4 – 6 cm, and then the tree is pulled off.

3.6.3.13. Trees that are broken at a height of more than 1 m from the ground, the top part of which is hanging on another tree, must be removed, first separating the hanging part from the standing butt part using a winch or tractor. If this fails, then the butt is attached to the tractor with a rope, the tractor is placed at an angle of 90 deg. to the longitudinal axis of the top part and pull the rope. Then, from the side of the stretched cable in the butt part, a cut is made with a depth of up to 1/2 of the diameter, and on the reverse side, a cut with a half-cut 4–6 cm wide is made, after which a tree is landed using a tractor.

The same is done with hung trees with a twisted root system, the landing of which by the pulling force of the tractor winch without felling is impossible due to the root system remaining in the ground.

3.6.3.14. The removal of several trees hanging on one is carried out in the following sequence: the tree located at the top is removed first, then the one on which the first relied, and so on.

Of two or more nearby inclined and hovering trees, the one that is easier to land is removed first.

3.6.3.15. Felling of windfall trees with a partially twisted root system and a top that does not lie on the ground is carried out in the direction of their slope. Inclined, broken, split free-standing trees are allowed to be cut down only after preliminary tying the trunk in its lower part with a chain, rope or rope (4 – 5 turns ) and driving the wedge under the strapping. The sawing of such trees is carried out to a depth of up to 1/2 of the diameter at the place of cutting.

3.6.3.16. A skidder blade should be used to harvest strongly slanted windthrown trees with a twisted root system, the top of which does not lie on the ground.

3.6.3.17. It is forbidden to saw off blocks from the butt of a hung tree, to cut snagged branches on which the tree hung, to cut the roots, purse or stump of a hung tree.

3.6.3.18. The felling of trees that threaten to fall on the railway track, overhead power lines, contact networks, auto-locks and communications should be carried out with the voltage removed in the presence of an employee of the power supply distance responsible for electrical safety during work. Work must be carried out using safety braces with a length of at least three heights of a falling tree.
