Opening hours

of the Early Intervention Center

Reception by appointment 9004 at the Early Intervention Center

4

: 360 17 82

For the initial appointment, you must have:

  • the child’s medical card;
  • results of additional medical examinations;
  • diaper;
  • change shoes for child and parents

and… good mood!!!

We would like to draw your attention to the work of the Center for Early Intervention at the ME “2nd children’s polyclinic”

Who can apply to our Center?

  • Family raising a young child (from birth to 3 years)

What specialists work at the Center?

Doctor-neurologist, teachers-defectologists, pedagogue-psychologist, instructor-methodologist in physical rehabilitation.

Why do we work as a team?

This is an opportunity to discuss family problems together. Each specialist “sees” the child as a whole, and not as a separate problem in each area of the child’s development, and this reduces the risk that any feature in the child’s development will be missed.

What services do we provide?

  • primary appointment, which is simultaneously carried out by specialists of different profiles;
  • individual (group) lessons;
  • advisory training sessions;
  • consultation appointment with a neurologist;

Basic rules of our work with the family:

  1. Do not lecture, but cooperate.
  2. Treat parents as equal partners.
  3. Have a constructive dialogue with the child’s parents.

Our task is to pay attention to the problem in time and take steps together to solve it.

We discuss a joint program of work with the child and encourage parents to actively cooperate. After all, the parents of the child are his main assistants.

We will guide you on how to help your child develop, give recommendations on the selection of toys, the organization of the daily routine and the choice of the optimal time for classes; we will show you how to form the skills of neatness and self-service; what methods and techniques to use for the development of speech, motor skills, attention, etc. You will learn to “hear” and understand your baby better.

If you find yourself in a difficult situation, one on one with a child with special needs, you can always turn to us for help. And we hope that recommendations for the development of the child, which we will regularly update on the site, will help you.

Stay tuned!

Early Intervention Center

The early years of a baby’s life are critical for preventing disease, promoting cognitive, social and emotional development, and reducing social inequality. During this period, the child’s brain has the highest level of plasticity, i. opportunity for recovery and change. How quickly recovery will proceed is affected by:

  • dates for starting work with the baby;
  • the complexity of this work;
  • the baby has the opportunity to interact with the surrounding loved ones.

All this indicates that parents should contact the Early Intervention Center (ECC) as soon as possible and at the slightest concern.

HELP IN THE CENTER IS FREE OF CHARGE.

CRV operation principles

  • Interdisciplinarity. The CRV team has various specialists in order to provide comprehensive assistance in one place.
  • Family oriented. When forming a program of work with the baby, the needs and capabilities of the family are taken into account. In addition, the whole family should be involved in the implementation of the program.
  • Child development in the natural environment. Help for the child is provided, to the greatest extent possible, in an environment that is familiar to the child, which provides a daily experience, as well as successful communication with loved ones. Learning in a natural environment guarantees that the child acquires the skills that he needs in everyday life.
  • Use of evidence-based methods and approaches. Evidence-based approaches and methods are used at all stages of providing assistance to the child and family.

*In Belarus, Early Intervention Centers appeared during the reorganization of early intervention rooms into the National Early Intervention System, which was carried out under the auspices of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in partnership with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus and with financial support from the Government of the Russian Federation.

OUR CRV

Since 2010, on the basis of the 3rd City Children’s Polyclinic of Minsk, the District Early Intervention Center for young children (from 0 to 3 years) of the Oktyabrsky district has been operating.

Families can contact our ETC for:

  • interdisciplinary assessment of the level of development of the child;
  • receiving advice on the upbringing and development of the child;
  • receiving specialist assistance in the presence of developmental disorders in a child – in the form of in-depth diagnostics of problem areas of development, joint planning and implementation of an individual early intervention program;
  • receiving psychological and informational assistance and support in a crisis situation.

First of all, families with children under three years of age are waiting for the ERC:

  • with suspected developmental delays;
  • diagnosed with a developmental delay;
  • with congenital pathology;
  • premature births;
  • born with low body weight;
  • operated after birth;
  • with serious changes in behavior, selectivity of contact, disturbances in the emotional sphere.

The staff of the Early Intervention Center are multidisciplinary professionals who work as a team to achieve the best results.

Our multidisciplinary team:

  • Lepeshko (Lopatskaya) Elena Vasilievna, pediatric neurologist (head of the center) 512 room
  • Kazei Svetlana Viktorovna, teacher-defectologist, room 505
  • Bulavitskaya Nadezhda Georgievna, psychologist, room 504
  • Oleg Vladimirovich Ardyuk, exercise therapy instructor, room 513

Forms of work of the CRV

  • Primary appointment, carried out by a team of specialists, during which an assessment of the development of the child is carried out, problems in functioning are identified, and factors influencing the development of the child are determined.
  • Individual and group lessons , where parents are trained in stimulating methods for the development of the child in problem areas, as well as daily care techniques and organizing developmental activities at home for the coming period;
  • Counseling for the prevention of serious problems in the development of the child, in which parents are provided with information on a specific issue. Specialists introduce the family to various ways of solving problems so that in the future parents can cope with them on their own and have an idea of \u200b\u200bwhat to do.

You can apply to the Early Intervention Center in the direction of specialists ( pediatrician, rehabilitologist, neurologist, speech therapist, psychoneurologist, etc.) or independently if there are indications.

Assistance at the Center is provided free of charge.
