The road to the nursery is 6 kilometers on foot along the roadside. The journalist of Rossiyskaya Gazeta was the first to tell about the difficulties that a resident of the Morgaushsky district had to face when she took her four children to the neighboring village of Yunga to kindergarten. After that, the administration of the rural settlement nevertheless found a way out of the situation, however, not quite the usual one. Our film crew met the Orlov family and found out whether the mother of many children was satisfied with the solution to the problem.
Ekaterina Khramkina, Irina Nikolaeva, Semyon Antonov
36-year-old Natalia Orlova has just taken her four older daughters to kindergarten and returned home to her youngest son Sasha. This time the journey took only half an hour. And earlier, in order to get to the nursery of the village of Yunga from the settlement of Pervoe Maya, Natalya and her children had to walk 6 kilometers along the roadside. First, 2.5 kilometers to the highway, then to a stop where they boarded a passing minibus.
– And then from the stop to the kindergarten on foot in the same way, – says mother of many children Natalia Orlova.
There is no one to help Natalya with childcare and housekeeping. Her husband, in order to feed his family, is forced to go to work in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Natalia applied to the local administration with a request to allow her to travel to the kindergarten with her daughters by school bus.
– The municipality arranges transportation for school-age children. Nothing has been said about preschoolers, – assures the head of the education department of the administration of the Morgaush district, Zoya Diplomatova.
Local authorities considered various options for solving the problem: firstly, opening a family kindergarten in their home, however, the lack of education of a mother with many children and the inconsistency of housing with SanPiN standards rejected this option. They tried to organize this service in the homes of other residents of the settlement May Day, but even here they failed – there were no people willing. We also considered the possibility of opening a bus route to the settlement. A competition was announced several times.
– There was no district transportation contractor, – says the head of the Yunginsky rural settlement Valery Fomin. – They referred that the population does not travel by shuttle bus. They said it was unprofitable.
The solution that the district administration found was to open a round-the-clock group in the Ryabinushka kindergarten. According to the manager, all conditions have been created for the children: an additional half-time junior educator and a full-time assistant educator who will stay with the children for the night have been hired, six meals a day have been organized for the kids. Parents will have to pay only 93 rubles for such conditions of stay in the garden. There was also a transport that will deliver the kids to the kindergarten.
– A special bus is provided for children in the May Day settlement, which brings children to kindergarten on Monday, and picks them up on Friday at 17:30, – said Elena Shurneeva, head of kindergarten No. 5 of the Morgaush district.
Natalya Orlova is satisfied with this solution to the problem. Now not only the children, but she herself will not have to walk 6 kilometers twice a day.
