How to Sell/Tag

HOW IT WORKS:
Participating in a kids consignment sale is a GREAT way to MAKE MONEY! Start by cleaning out your kids’ closets, drawers, and rooms. Sell items that our unused and/or outgrown, but still in good condition. You will typically make more money at SKCS than yard sales or consignment stores, because there is a larger crowd, higher demand, and YOU set your own prices! If you want your items to be 1/2 price on Saturday (the half-off sale day), you simply choose that option when creating your tags. Detailed tagging instructions are below. In addition, if you sell in other *consignment sales, you can simply transfer your unsold items to the next sale–you don’t even have to RETAG! All you have to do is register with the web-link below, enter/print your tags, prepare all your items, and drop them off! We take care of the rest: venue, advertising, publicity, display, and cleanup! You will receive 70% of the selling price of your items, and you can pick up the remaining items after the sale-OR–you can choose to donate your unsold items to Fostering Bulloch (we will take care of getting the items to the organization). You pay only a $10 registration fee, which we simply deduct from your settlement at the end of the sale.

How to Price
Although we are familiar with the pricing of used items, new sellers might need a little help. Typically, gently used items sale for 1/2 to 1/3 of the original price.  Check out a these websites with GREAT tips to help you PRICE and PREPARE your items:

How can the children of the south – Ehrenburg.

Ilya Ehrenburg – poems

Ilya Ehrenburg

Yes, can the children of the south

Yes, where can the children of the south,
you won’t find the word “blizzard”
Neither in memory, nor in the dictionary,
Is it really where the sky is blue
And it doesn’t fade for an hour,
Where from time immemorial to this day
All the same summer pleases the eye,
Is it really so, at least briefly,
At least for a minute, at least in a dream,
At least inadvertently guess,
What does it mean to think about spring,
What does it mean in March cold,
When despair takes,
All to wait and wait, how clumsily
Heavy ice will stir.
And we knew such winters,
We got used to such cold,
That there was not even sadness,
But only pride and misfortune.
And in a strong, icy resentment,
Blinded by a dry blizzard,
We saw, no longer seeing,
Green eyes of spring. nine0003

The doctor explained the difference in the nature of the “northern” and “southern” children – Gazeta.Ru

The doctor explained the difference in the nature of the “northern” and “southern” children – Gazeta.Ru | News

Ambient temperature affects the emotional background of children, their health and well-being. In particular, the climate affects the speed of nerve impulses and the expression of emotions. Lidia Nereutsa, a pediatrician and allergist-immunologist at the SM-Clinic in St. Petersburg, told Gazeta.Ru about this.

“Children’s behavior is also influenced by the amount of vitamin D. In warm climates, the child gets his full dose of vitamin D from the sun’s rays. That is why southern children are more active, open and funny. They make contact easier and are always ready to do something,” the doctor explains. nine0003

Pediatrician explains that vitamin D is important for skeletal growth and regulation of the endocrine system. In addition, this substance maintains a person’s vitality, and this affects emotions.

According to the doctor, vitamin D deficiency is a common problem in the northern latitudes, and children tolerate it more severely than adults.

Lidia Nereutsa notes that in northern children the emotional reaction is often slower and not so pronounced:

“They are more lethargic, more often capricious, less active. In addition, northern children are more likely to get sick, first of all, with colds and ENT diseases.” nine0003

For more details on how a person’s character depends on climate, a geneticist and an evolutionary psychologist tell in article of Gazeta.Ru.
