SWKIDS Christmas Party

Wednesday, December 14th from 6:15pm – 8:30pm (activities will pause for a Christmas skit at 7:30pm in the main auditorium!)

We’d like to invite your family to join us for our SWKIDS Christmas Party! All families with kids 5th grade and younger are welcome to join us. We’ll have gingerbread house building, ornament making, Christmas bingo, mini-golf, inflatable games, and a Christmas skit. Invite your friends; you won’t want to miss this! SWKIDS Christmas Choir

SWKIDS Christmas Choir is a special part of our Christmas Eve services at SWBIBLE. Each year, kids in Kindergarten – 5th grade have the opportunity to perform Christmas songs as part of our celebration together of Jesus’ birth.

Sign-ups are closed for this year. We hope to see you December 24th to celebrate the birth of our Savior!

SWKIDS (ages 0-5 and Kindergarten-5th Grade) meets during both the 8:30 am & 11 am worship services, as well as between the services at 10 am for SWKIDS classes.

SWKIDS Sunday Services | 8:30 & 11 am

Childcare is available for ages 0-2 years old.

Ages 3-5 enjoy an interactive lesson and story time, worship, small group, craft, and various activities.

Kindergarten-5th grade students meet with others in their age range for worship, crafts, small groups, and a skit / lesson time all together.

Check-in is available at the SWKIDS Entrance approximately 15 minutes prior to each service.

SWKIDS Classes | 10 am

SWKIDS Classes (ages 0-5 and Kindergarten-5th Grade) meet at 10 am for a focused and age-specific time of Bible teaching and classroom activities.  Most classes use Gospel Project Kids, a 3 year journey through the Bible to see Jesus throughout Scripture.

Childcare is available for ages 0-2 years old.

Ages 3 through 5th Grade – Meets Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm – 8:30pm for a time of games, prayer, crafts, making friends, and Bible teaching.

SWKIDS Club runs through December 7th for the 2022 calendar year, taking a pause November 23rd for Thanksgiving.

Our Child Dedication services provide an opportunity for parents to publicly commit themselves and their children to the Lord. These services are a special time when parents publicly promise, by the grace of God, to teach their children of Christ by instruction and by example. No wonder that the first film of the Spy Kids series was such a success at the box office – the director and screenwriter of the picture, Robert Rodriges managed to combine action adventure give the result in a family movie wrapper.
The younger generation will be delighted with the coolest spy tricks, tricks and special effects that this children’s fantasy is filled with, and older viewers will appreciate the acting of real Hollywood celebrities (Antonio Banderas, Danny Trejo, Cheech Marina, George Clooney, Robert Patrick, Alan Cumming) with gladly accepted the invitation to fool around on the same set.
Once upon a time, Gregorio and Ingrid left behind their hectic spy life, got married, gave birth to two beautiful children. But the day came when they had to remember the past. Moreover, their children, Carmen and Juni, will get into a mess (with great pleasure).

Formerly tough secret agents, now happy parents Ingrid and Gregory Cortez are raising their two children, Juni and Carmen. But special agents, as you know, are never former. Moreover, a series of tragic events forces them to recall their forgotten skills again. The fact is that seven great intelligence specialists have already gone missing, for no apparent reason or trace.

The Cortes decide to help the secret services and find their former colleagues, and at the same time find and neutralize the mysterious kidnapper. But the enemy turned out to be very smart, and the main characters themselves are captured by a certain Finger. It would seem that their fate is sealed. But not for nothing, because former agents taught their children how to use spy uniforms and secret technologies. Now the fate of the former agents depends entirely on whether the guys will be able to use the arsenal of their parents.

In the course of their work, Juni and Carmen find themselves on the trail of a popular TV presenter, Fegan Floop. They head to his headquarters, where he hosts all of his talk shows. Once there, the children are ready to eliminate him, but it turns out that he is not guilty of anything. Behind the crimes is another person – Minion. He creates an unusual army of robot children to subjugate the whole world. It is him and these clones that the Cortes must defeat. And Flup helps them with this. The main characters cope with the army of clones and the villain. Floop has programmed robot children to do good deeds and now they help people around the world. He still hosts his TV show, and Carmen and Juni receive their first special assignment, which they agree to complete only together with their parents.

“Children of spies” returned me in my childhood. This, in fact, is their goal. In my childhood there was the magazine “Science and Life”, the novel “Solnyshkin’s Seafaring” and the film “The Secret of the Iron Door”. Pioneer Tolik Ryzhkov accidentally received a box of magic matches that granted any wish. Tolik’s desires turned out to be rather unassuming. Pass the algebra exam. Help a friend become a musician. Calm down mom. No space attacks or time travel for you. The Soviet film industry had neither the money nor the technical capabilities for Tolik and me to achieve our real desires – for real magic.

Spy Kids is different. From the first moment when a girl asks her mother to tell her a bedtime story, and in three minutes she retells her entire spy past, you don’t have time to dismiss the magic. Jetpacks “Druzhok”. Bullet planes with joysticks instead of sticks. Gum that can be used to locate the person whose sole it has stuck to. But the main thing is not the amount of magic per square centimeter of the screen, but that joyful smile of a young dad with which Robert Rodriguez presents it to us. It is immediately obvious: it is pleasant for a person to give people joy. And there are no special effects. Some of the magical inventions are computer-generated, but most of them are handmade. Sometimes even somewhat clumsy because it is manual, but this only attracts. For example, a spy plane was built in a hangar in Austin. Real size. So you can’t blame everything on new technologies, on increasing opportunities and budgets. It’s about relationship. Here, for example, is how Rodriguez talks about his favorite flying pack: “When I was a child, everyone was sure that by the beginning of the third millennium we would fly with jetpacks on our shoulders. So far this has not happened. I proposed a new version of this device that will inspire new generations to dream of flying.” That is, Rodriguez, in his Texas hangar, did not invent a filmmaker, but a real one. Not a special effect, but a useful thing to use. This is the secret that Rodriguez is not a film director, but Samodelkin. Saws magic with a jigsaw.
