School programs for primary grades 2022-2023

Choosing a school is a responsible matter. Location, catering, the availability of after-school, the authority of the teaching staff – all factors play an important role. Recently, more and more parents when choosing a school pay attention to the curriculum. I must say that in 2022-2023, teachers are working on several school programs for primary grades. Let’s list the main ones, consider how they differ, talk about the advantages and disadvantages of each program.

Modern school programs

Several programs have been approved by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. Among them:

  • School of Russia.
  • Elementary school of the XXI century.
  • Promising elementary school.
  • Planet of knowledge.
  • Perspective.
  • Harmony.
  • Rhythm.
  • Elkonin-Davydov system.
  • Initial innovation system.

Let’s take a closer look at each of them below.

Which schools will choose school programs in 2022-2023

All public and private educational institutions are required to approve the program before the start of the year, according to which the teaching staff will work next year. Sometimes parents have the right to contact the school administration with a request to change the program. The decision to refuse or grant the request is made by the teaching staff.

Changes in school curricula according to the Federal State Educational Standard in 2022-2023

From 2022-2023, the Federal State Educational Standard will be introduced in schools. By 2024, all schools in Russia must switch to third-generation federal standards. For this purpose, schools are being tested for compliance with the requirements for educational institutions, curricula are being studied, and adjustments are being made. The goal is to provide comfortable conditions for the education of children in any region of the country with the provision of equal knowledge, regardless of place of residence. Further, based on the recommendations of the Federal State Educational Standard, textbooks, methodological manuals, tasks for the final certification of students will be compiled.

The structure of the new Federal State Educational Standards will significantly reduce the burden of reporting and leave teachers room for creativity.

Primary School Curricula in 2022-2023

Primary School Programs 2022-2023 are divided into two categories: traditional and developmental. In general, there are several leading primary school curricula in 2022-2023. Each of them has followers. Let’s take a closer look at some of them.

School of Russia

Established under the leadership of Andrey Pleshakov, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, it is aimed at respecting national traditions and cultivating human values. Excessive requirements are not imposed on children, tasks are designed for the average level of knowledge of students. It is assumed that any child can easily master it. First-graders do not need to be able to read and count.

The goal is to teach children how to learn. The child is brought up to be focused on the result, and not on work for the sake of a good assessment or parental approval. Educational material is accessible and understandable to teachers and parents. After all, they help children in the development of disciplines. As a result of mastering the program, children become independent and responsible.

Elementary School of the 21st Century

This is a long-term research project of the staff of the Primary School Center and the Russian Academy of Education. The goal is to modernize primary education, search for new approaches to the methodology of teaching younger students. For this, workbooks, textbooks, lesson planning, methodological recommendations were developed.

The main principle is that the school meets the needs of children of each age. Close attention is drawn to the painless adaptation of children to new activities. For this purpose, integrated courses have been developed for grade 1 students. They are aimed at forming an integral perception of the surrounding world. A system of games with rules has also been developed that develops the qualities of students necessary for learning. In addition, approaches have been developed to develop control and self-assessment skills. This is the heading “Test yourself”, “Find mistakes”, “Compare the answer with the text.”

In the program, students act as researchers, not listeners. Hypotheses are encouraged, independent search for truth.

The program realizes the child’s right to individuality. The educational material makes it possible to take into account the level of development, the individual pace of mastering the material of each student. The child is given the right to make a mistake, an independent analysis of the educational process and learning outcomes.

Promising Primary School

The aim of the program is the optimal development of the abilities, interests, inclinations of each child with the support of teachers. Schoolchildren alternately act as students and teachers, they can be organizers of the learning situation.

Basic principles of the program:

  • Preservation and strengthening of mental and physical health of children.
  • Accounting for individual characteristics and abilities.
  • Continuous overall development of each child.
  • Formation of a holistic picture of the world.

The educational process helps to form the ability to work simultaneously with a textbook and other sources of information. Work and communication skills are developed in pairs, in small and large groups. Showing multiple points of view is encouraged.

Planet of knowledge

Designed for lyceums and specialized schools. Contains different levels of tasks. The material is aimed at the formation of correct speech, public speaking, self-development. The program involves the development of logical thinking, which helps the child learn to reason and draw conclusions independently.

The program is distinguished by coherence and consistency in the presentation of information, a visual explanation of the material, colorful textbooks, and an accessible presentation of basic knowledge. The interconnection of objects among themselves is developed. The material studied in literature lessons is transferred to mathematics; knowledge about the animal world becomes a topic for presentation.

Perspective

Provides comprehensive development of the personality of younger students. The developed textbooks help to work with information, structure the material, form the skill of independent work. All conditions have been created for an individual approach to students with different levels of preparation for school. In mathematics lessons, children learn to observe, compare, generalize, find the simplest patterns. Mental activity develops, computational skills are formed on the basis of rational methods of action.

The material in the textbooks “Technology” is built in the form of a journey and introduces students to human activities in different areas: Man and Water, Man and Air, Man and Earth, Man and the information space.

Harmony

Supporters of developmental education will like it. Its goal is multifaceted development, maintaining the activity of children in the process of mastering new material. The program encourages the artificial creation of situations of success for each student. The program is designed for children with a high level of development who:

  • Have logical thinking skills.
  • They have developed visual thinking.
  • Freely switch from one task to another.
  • They have a good vocabulary and developed memory.

Children are helped to apply their own experience in solving problems. They provide the basics for the simultaneous use of several models of the learning process with graphs and diagrams. Raise spiritual values and moral priorities. They prefer independent work in the classroom and at home. In other words, a first-grader should already be prepared in advance by the time he enters school and be interested in gaining knowledge together with the teacher, learning about the world around him.

Rhythm

R – development

I – individuality

T – creativity

M – thinking

The program combines all the subjects of elementary school. It is based on the revised and supplemented with the Federal State Educational Standard “Classical Primary School”. But it is rare in schools.

The idea is supported that the child should think creatively and independently, revealing individuality.

Elkonin-Davydov system

The main difference is the lack of ratings. Students seek knowledge, not grades. Learn to process information, filter out the secondary and highlight the significant. Schoolchildren are highly motivated to study. They are interested in learning. Children are not required to keep diaries, they learn to evaluate the result on their own. But first, in the first grade, students select criteria for evaluating the work. And in the second year of study, they can already tell how correctly, accurately and accurately the work was done. To control the process, parents are provided with a portfolio of the child, which contains his creative work.

The system is distinguished by interesting teaching methods and techniques. The teacher may deliberately make mistakes by creating trap tasks. There is no unquestioning faith in the words of the teacher. The student must check and verify personally that the information is correct. To this end, a free and uninhibited atmosphere is created in the lessons, because only in such conditions creativity, fantasy, flight of thought is manifested. Various types of games are practiced in the lessons, which is especially important for students of the first and second grades.

This developmental program does not correspond to the classical system of education. Therefore, parents are advised not to transfer their child to a regular school at least until the seventh grade. Otherwise, it will be very difficult for the student to readjust.

Primary innovative school

The main task is to provide an information field for the development of the personality of a younger student in accordance with individual characteristics. This is a combination of developmental education and a traditional school. The primary innovative school 2022-2023 provides for work with special children. A system of training in inclusive groups has been developed. Emphasis is placed on gifted children. But the main emphasis is on the formation of a healthy and safe lifestyle for younger students.

Primary school education programs in Russian schools

Hello friends! Welcome to the blog pages! Don’t you think that when our parents sent us to first grade, it was much easier for them than for us? The main concern was the purchase of a school uniform, a briefcase and all the necessary supplies. Today we face a more serious and responsible choice. Among other things, you also need to decide on what program the child will study, how and what he will be taught at school.

September is just around the corner, and poor parents in turmoil and anxiety are poring over websites about educational programs for younger students, looking at reviews and in a fit of desperation in various forums asking: “Which one is better?”

In order to protect you from such a situation and give confidence in the future of your child, I have tried in this review article to tell in an accessible and simple way about the main education programs in the primary grades of our Russian schools for the 2016-2017 academic year. And be sure to watch the video at the end of the article, you will learn a lot of new things)

Lesson plan:

  • 1 “School 2100”
  • 2 “School of Russia”
  • 3 D. B. Elkonin – V. V. Davydov system
  • 4 “Perspective elementary school” 9007 5 XXI century”
  • 6 “Perspective”
  • 7 “Planet of Knowledge”
  • 8 Zankov System

“School 2100”

from kindergarten through 11th grade. “School 2100” has existed for 20 years and is widely used in Russian schools.

In the course of training, children master a large amount of material. The program involves the independent activity of students, when the teacher does not teach, but directs and controls the learning process. At the same time, the teacher finds an individual approach to each. There is creativity in learning.

“School of Russia”

This is the program that our parents and some of us studied under. It’s already the 21st century, and it still remains relevant.

The program is called “The School of Russia” for a reason. If you want your child to become part of a generation of true patriots, then this program will be the perfect solution to this issue. Education, in particular, is aimed at developing in each child an interest in the country in which he lives, to arouse a desire for its further study and knowledge. The program involves the education of a person who will glorify his homeland, love and respect people, and treat nature with awe, love and caution.

The system of D. B. Elkonin – V. V. Davydov

It should be noted right away that this training program is quite complex. Its slogan can be made the saying “Patience and work will grind everything.” Information is not given to students in a ready-made form – students must learn to find it on their own, studying the causes of a particular phenomenon.

The system does not allow marking. Instead, the teacher provides parents with information about their child’s academic and creative progress in the form of a portfolio. The main focus is not on the result, but on the way to achieve it. This is effective, as it allows you to better remember the information that the student “chews” and “swallows” on his own.

Promising Elementary School

Teachers who teach under this program pay special attention to the individuality of each child in their work. At the same time, they take into account how old the students are, what level of development they have, and most importantly, their interests. It is well known that absolutely each of us is talented, you just need to give this talent an impetus. The task of the teacher is to awaken the child’s abilities and direct them in the right direction.

The prospective elementary school assumes that during education children play the roles not only of those who learn something, but also organizers of learning activities. It is important that students work independently, alone, and in groups. Particular attention is paid to the process of information search. The program also involves the combination of subjects in one discipline, which allows you to form a holistic picture of the world.

“Primary School XXI Century”

By studying this program, children learn to be independent, they develop the ability to control themselves without anyone’s help and to evaluate themselves correctly (which is also very important). The teacher tries to conduct classes in dialogue, giving his students the right to their own opinion, without punishing or censuring for mistakes. So here you should not be afraid that your child will develop the so-called “excellent student syndrome”.

It is not the result itself that is evaluated, but how the student arrived at it. Education also involves the development of the ability to argue one’s opinion already at school, starting from the first days at the desk.

Perspektiva

The very name of the program promises parents a lot. The main task is to educate in the child a spiritually developed personality, the personality of a citizen.

The system of values of humanism and morality is formed in primary schoolchildren from the first grade. “Perspective” is aimed at awakening in each child an interest in learning something new, which eventually develops into independence. The teacher, before giving ready-made information, shows the problem, the solution of which will be new knowledge.

“Planet of Knowledge”

Training is structured as follows. The students are given tasks, and not simple tasks, but creative ones. Children must learn to solve them on their own, but not without the help of a teacher who guides and controls his students.

Students must master the basic skills of finding information, learn how to act consistently in solving problems, find the causes and ways to eliminate them. There is a lot of information on the “Planet of Knowledge” (it’s not for nothing that it is called that), and the teacher’s task is to help “space travelers” who find themselves in the open space of knowledge for the first time master them.

Zankov system

The process of learning according to this system is not traditional, when the teacher tells and the children memorize. The task of the teacher is to master the new material in a creative way. On the basis of the examples given by the teacher, the students must “dig” to the truth on their own. That is why special attention is paid to the practical application of the acquired knowledge. However, the theoretical part does not stand aside and is no less important in the learning process.

Despite the high level of difficulty, the system assumes a rapid development of the material.

Russian literary critic Mikhail Gasparov in one of his works said that the school must meet the requirements that will be relevant in 20 years. And our task is to choose the school and the program that will cope with this task, unless, of course, you are given the right to make such a choice. It is also worth considering the characteristics of your child, his level of development and interests.

Personally, I prefer the School of Russia. My daughter has been attending this program for four years now. And next year my son will study on it. And I’m happy with everything.

The topic of training programs is so topical that even entire TV shows are dedicated to it. One of them is below. Watch the video. A lot of information.

What program do your children study under? Tell me? I look forward to your feedback in the comments, and also suggest sharing a link to the article by clicking on the buttons of social networks.
