Lynn Compton
Director
Mrs. Lynn has been part of the Kids ‘R’ Kids family since 2003. She is a wife and mother of two sons and a daughter. All of her children attended school in the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School district. Mrs. Lynn loves to spend time with her family and watch her daughter play softball on the weekends. She holds her Directors Licences and is also our Accounting Specialist.
Valerie Chapa
Assistant Director
Mrs. Valerie has been a part of the Kid ‘R’ Kids family since 2003. Valerie’s love and passion for what she does is evident in her work. Mrs. Valerie has been married for 20+ years and has a beautiful step-daughter and 2 fantastic young athletic boys who keep her running. Mrs. Valerie has her Child Development Associates and Director License.
Paige Nunes
School Age Gym Member
Mrs. Paige joined Kids ‘R’ Kids family in 2009, and currently has her CDA. She is married with 2 boys and 3 daughters who keep her busy. Paige’s aspirations are to mold our future minds as they embark on secondary education.
Patricia Paz
Suite 100, Lead Teacher
Ms. Patricia has been a part of the Kids ‘R’ Kids family since 2003. Ms. Patricia has over 20 years of experience, and she holds her Child Development Associates Credential. As her desire is to one day receive her Directors Licence and open up her own school.
Taylor Cox
Suite 250, Lead Teacher
Ms. Taylor joined the Kids ‘R’ Kids family in 2021 and has over 6 years of experience in early childcare. On her spare time, she enjoys dancing and shopping. What she loves most about working with children is having the opportunity to enjoy all of the different personalities of her infant toddlers.
Brenda Mendoza
Suite 300, Lead Teacher
Mrs. Brenda joined the Kids ‘R’ Kids family in May of 2017 and comes with 6 years of experience in early childhood and holds a Bachelors degree in Science of Education. She has been married for 3 years and together they have a beautiful daugher that keeps her busy. Mrs. Brenda loves and enjoys teaching toddlers.
Michelle Sanchez
Suite 450, Lead Teacher
Mrs. Michelle joined the Kids ‘R’ Kids family in 2020 and comes with over 20 years of experience in early childhood. She has enjoyed working with all ages but her favorites are the 3 year olds and 4 year olds. When she is not at work she loves spending time with her grandkids, fishing, swimming, watching movies and reading a good book.
Leassley Cabrera
Suite 500, Lead Teacher
Ms. Leassley joined the Kids ‘R’ Kids family in 2014. She has a beautiful daughter that keeps her busy. She is inspired by her students and enjoys coming to work to see all their smiling faces. What she loves most about teaching is knowing that she is a vital tool in their success. Ms. Leassley currently has her CDA.

Ms. Betty joined the Kids ‘R’ Kids family in 2017. She has always had a passion for working with kids. When she is not teaching, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends.

Mrs. Trisha joined the Kids ‘R’ Kids family in 2010. She brings over 7 years of experience with her. Mrs Trisha has been married for 13+ years and has 5 beautiful children together. She currently has her CDA.

Mr. JD joined our team in 2020. He is currently pursuing his bachelor’s in education. His goal is to be a Track Coach and a Special Education Teacher. He has always had a passion for working with children. Mr. JD enjoys running and spending time with his girlfriend.

Mrs. Meagan joined our team in 2020 and comes with over 6 year’s experience in education. She has been married for over 3 years. Together they have a beautiful daughter and are expecting a precious bundle of joy.

Landon, Alabama and their half-sister Atiana have always been Travis’ number one priority. He even bought a house near their school when he and ex Shanna Moakler were getting a divorce. “I bought a house that is very close to my kids’ school, so when she’s with the kids, she’s there; when I’m with the kids, I’m there. “They can’t be forced to go back and forth to different houses,” he said. Landon and Alabama Barker’s relationship with their parents is rocky.

Alabama and Landon often take to social media to comment on their parents. love lives. According to Us Weekly In April 2021, Landon posted on Instagram that his mom could have been “better” dating model Matthew Rondo. Alabama also expressed dissatisfaction with her mom’s boyfriend.

On the other hand, Landon called the photo of Courtney and Travis “true love”, while Alabama Barker left a comment on her father’s Instagram post where Courtney captured them on a trip to Disneyland. In a photo of the couple holding hands, Alabama commented on the favorite along with a red heart emoji.

I am their mother. I love them. It hurts and it’s heartbreaking when your kids say that. … It seems to me that in adolescence they really rebel and sometimes say things that they don’t mean. As a mother… I will always be there for my children, no matter what.
