Welcome to our site! We are glad you have chosen Maryland Child Services, Inc. – Kids MCS for your children’s education. It is our goal to meet all of yours and your children’s needs.
Please feel free to visit us at any time. We hope you join our programs!. We accept all children regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or gender.
Our Preschool programs are oriented to help children develop basic skills so they can be ready to enter kindergarten. Different activities are planned daily based on children’s individual needs focusing on the social emotional, physical and academic growth of all children. We provide a healthy and fun environment to our children so they can make friends and create lifetime memories.
The school age program supplements classroom learning, offers homework help and time for children to socialize with other peers. We make mornings and afternoons fun for our school age group!

If you have already visited one of our centers and decided to enroll your children, you will find all the information you need in the Enrollment Information Packet that is listed below which has been built in accordance with COMAR Child Care Regulations. We look forward to welcoming your children at our programs!
We are not accepting more school age program applications at the Sherwood Center at this moment.
Spots are available in the Rockville and Silver Spring locations.

My son attended Mary Hart Center since he was 3. I was worried about the transition from home to school, but the Maryland Child Services staff are so dedicated that helped him feel like if he were at home. He is now in Kindergarten but never forgets Mrs. Gloria and her staff. Now and then we stop at the center to say Hi. I would highly recommend this center to other parents!
I enrolled my two daughters in the before and after school programs at the Colesville location about 4 years ago. I am a mother who works full time and worried about my daughters when they were not at home. My worries ended when I found this center. My daughters receive enough help and support to complete their homework and additional projects and have the chance to socialize with other children of their age.

My daughter Annie attended summer camps. The centers have programs full of activities and field trips to the zoo, museums, water parks, you name it!. I am very proud of the progress my son has made at the school. He started the year having difficulties talking even though he was already 3.
