Hello and welcome. This website serves as a vessel to sell the above Daycare Enrollment Forms Packet. The packet comes complete with all the necessary forms (PDF and DOC) one needs to enroll/register a new child into your daycare. The forms herein are tailor made for a family home daycare, but of course can be easily adapted to suit any child care situation.

Running a successful daycare business is no easy task. It takes a tremendous amount of patience and a genuine appreciation for what the job entails. It also takes a good business sense in order to run successfully – long term. That starts, in part, by conveying your daycare policies in the most accurate and transparent way possible, upfront and clearly, via your daycare enrollment/registration forms. I have been a daycare provider for over 18 years. The above forms are what I gathered, built, and personally use to enroll children into my daycare. I personally wrote most of each and every word therein, custom made to be as complete and user friendly as possible. I have put an enormous amount of thought into each – accounting for every lesson learned over the past 18 years. All in an effort to completely mitigate all likely child care matters, that can, and do arise.

Each example form above is cut in half to give a taste of its value. The purchased zip/packet of course comes with the full PDF and its mirrored accompanying Microsoft Word Doc (so you can edit each if needed). Furthermore, when applicable, each area is clearly labeled where you would want to put in your name, business name, etc so you can personally adapt each to fit your daycare brand and business model.

Once you have put your specific information into the designated areas provided within the Microsoft Word Doc, and/or edited to your liking, then simply “save” and then “save as” PDF. If you desire to also have fillable forms within your custom PDF the easiest/automated way is to use Adobe Acrobat. If you have any questions please feel free to email me using the contact link below.

NOTE: You can purchase forms individually as well for $12.99 each. In which case, email me using the contact link below requesting the specific form you need and I will provide you with the payment details.

404 – PAGE NOT FOUND

Why am I seeing this page?

404 means the file is not found. If you have already uploaded the file then the name may be misspelled or it is in a different folder.

Other Possible Causes

You may get a 404 error for images because you have Hot Link Protection turned on and the domain is not on the list of authorized domains.

If you go to your temporary url (http://ip/~username/) and get this error, there maybe a problem with the rule set stored in an . htaccess file. You can try renaming that file to .htaccess-backup and refreshing the site to see if that resolves the issue.

It is also possible that you have inadvertently deleted your document root or the your account may need to be recreated. Either way, please contact your web host immediately.

Are you using WordPress? See the Section on 404 errors after clicking a link in WordPress.

How to find the correct spelling and folder

Missing or Broken Files

When you get a 404 error be sure to check the URL that you are attempting to use in your browser. This tells the server what resource it should attempt to request.

http://example.com/example/Example/help.html

In this example the file must be in public_html/example/Example/

Notice that the CaSe is important in this example. On platforms that enforce case-sensitivity example and Example are not the same locations.

For addon domains, the file must be in public_html/addondomain.com/example/Example/ and the names are case-sensitive.

Broken Image

When you have a missing image on your site you may see a box on your page with with a red X where the image is missing. Right click on the X and choose Properties. The properties will tell you the path and file name that cannot be found.

This varies by browser, if you do not see a box on your page with a red X try right clicking on the page, then select View Page Info, and goto the Media Tab.

http://example.com/cgi-sys/images/banner.PNG

In this example the image file must be in public_html/cgi-sys/images/

Notice that the CaSe is important in this example. On platforms that enforce case-sensitivity PNG and png are not the same locations.

404 Errors After Clicking WordPress Links

When working with WordPress, 404 Page Not Found errors can often occur when a new theme has been activated or when the rewrite rules in the . htaccess file have been altered.

When you encounter a 404 error in WordPress, you have two options for correcting it.

Option 1: Correct the Permalinks

  1. Log in to WordPress.
  2. From the left-hand navigation menu in WordPress, click Settings > Permalinks (Note the current setting. If you are using a custom structure, copy or save the custom structure somewhere.)
  3. Select  Default.
  4. Click Save Settings.
  5. Change the settings back to the previous configuration (before you selected Default). Put the custom structure back if you had one.
  6. Click Save Settings.

This will reset the permalinks and fix the issue in many cases. If this doesn’t work, you may need to edit your .htaccess file directly.

Option 2: Modify the .htaccess File

Add the following snippet of code to the top of your . index.php$ – [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
# End WordPress

If your blog is showing the wrong domain name in links, redirecting to another site, or is missing images and style, these are all usually related to the same problem: you have the wrong domain name configured in your WordPress blog.

How to modify your .htaccess file

The .htaccess file contains directives (instructions) that tell the server how to behave in certain scenarios and directly affect how your website functions.

Redirects and rewriting URLs are two very common directives found in a .htaccess file, and many scripts such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla and Magento add directives to the .htaccess so those scripts can function.

It is possible that you may need to edit the .htaccess file at some point, for various reasons. This section covers how to edit the file in cPanel, but not what may need to be changed. (You may need to consult other articles and resources for that information.)

There are Many Ways to Edit a .htaccess File

  • Edit the file on your computer and upload it to the server via FTP
  • Use an FTP program’s Edit Mode
  • Use SSH and a text editor
  • Use the File Manager in cPanel

The easiest way to edit a .htaccess file for most people is through the File Manager in cPanel.

How to Edit .htaccess files in cPanel’s File Manager

Before you do anything, it is suggested that you backup your website so that you can revert back to a previous version if something goes wrong.

Open the File Manager

  1. Log into cPanel.
  2. In the Files section, click on the File Manager icon.
  3. Check the box for Document Root for and select the domain name you wish to access from the drop-down menu.
  4. Make sure Show Hidden Files (dotfiles)” is checked.
  5. Click Go. The File Manager will open in a new tab or window.
  6. Look for the .htaccess file in the list of files. You may need to scroll to find it.

To Edit the .htaccess File

  1. Right click on the .htaccess file and click Code Edit from the menu. Alternatively, you can click on the icon for the .htaccess file and then click on the Code Editor icon at the top of the page.
  2. A dialogue box may appear asking you about encoding. Just click Edit to continue. The editor will open in a new window.
  3. Edit the file as needed.
  4. Click Save Changes in the upper right hand corner when done. The changes will be saved.
  5. Test your website to make sure your changes were successfully saved. If not, correct the error or revert back to the previous version until your site works again.
  6. Once complete, you can click Close to close the File Manager window.

    Dear parents!

Please review the guidelines for preparing your child for kindergarten.

The child goes to kindergarten. Probably, there are no parents who would not want this stage to pass easily, calmly, so that the baby would immediately go to kindergarten with pleasure and without screaming. But this happens quite rarely. More often, children cry for the first few days or weeks, they do not want to let their mother go. And there is nothing unusual about this. For a child, starting kindergarten is stressful. And our task is to soften it so that it goes unnoticed and without unpleasant consequences. Therefore, we offer you rules for parents so that the adaptation of the child is as easy and fast as possible.

It is better to send a child to kindergarten in the warm season, when children spend most of their time walking. So it will be easier for the child to adapt, since outdoor games, sandbox – everything is very reminiscent of the usual conditions of his daily life.

A week or two before the beginning of the visit to the kindergarten, accustom the child to the regime that is set in the garden and introduce dishes prepared in the garden into the child’s diet. Thus, there will be 2 less stressful moments. The child should get used to waking up in the morning (for example, at 7:00), sleeping in the afternoon from 12:00, having breakfast and lunch at about the same time as in the garden. Then it will be easier for him to get used to his conditions.

Self-care skills. Teach your baby to dress, undress, eat with a spoon, wean from disposable diapers. Of course, if you have to send your child to kindergarten at a very early age, then these skills may not yet be formed at a sufficient level. The main thing is that the child wants and tries to dress or eat on his own, and also knows how to ask for help. Then he will feel more comfortable and confident among his peers, among whom there are those who can do it on their own.

Form a positive installation on the garden. This is a very important item! Never scare a child with a kindergarten. Phrases such as: “Calm down, otherwise I’ll take you to the garden”, “Here you go to the kindergarten – you’ll see!” are able to form in the child the installation that the garden is bad and should be avoided by all means. Do not use phrases containing a negative for the child (“And in the garden you will have to eat this!”, “Here you go to the kindergarten, and there you have to share with the children!”) Talk about the kindergarten, walk around it, watch the children on its playground, commenting on everything you see.

Do not deceive the child! Speak as you are. Do not praise the kindergarten too much, so that later the child does not have disappointment. “Yes, you will come to the group, and there are many children. At first you won’t know anyone, but the teacher will help you make friends, and you will have fun!” “Yes, you will have to be in the garden without your mother, I will miss you too, but in the evening I will definitely come for you!” This is the best way to talk to a child.

Teach your child to let go of his mother, to play independently with toys. Of course, not everyone has such an opportunity, but it’s good if the child has a regular experience that the mother is absent for several hours, and the baby at this time stays with the father, grandmother, nanny … Children who have never parted with their mother, just as those who have had a bad experience of such a separation may take longer to adapt to kindergarten.

Communication skills. Show your child how to share toys, how to ask for a toy, how to address adults. These skills will be useful to him in the kindergarten group from the very first day. To prepare a child for kindergarten, attend early development groups, at least so that the child gets used to the children’s team, to classes and the need to listen and hear an adult.

Treat caregivers with respect and kindness. The child is very attentive to your emotions, reactions, behavior. So he treats other people the way you treat them, he accepts your attitude. Therefore, when coming to kindergarten for the first time, the child should feel and understand that the teacher is a “good aunt”, because her mother is friendly, calm and friendly with her.

Be sure to say goodbye, do not run away, leaving the child. This applies not only to kindergarten, but also to any moments of parting. It is much easier for a child to understand that mother is coming and will return soon than where mother suddenly disappeared. In the latter case, the children begin to invent that their mother left them and will never return. Then tears, worries, tantrums begin, unwillingness to let go of mom for a second.

Do not break habits at first, even bad habits (thumb sucking, nipples, etc.). If your baby sucks a pacifier, a finger, or has some other habit, do not try to wean it off at the same time as entering kindergarten. So you add another stress to your child. Wait until the child adapts to the kindergarten, then take care of the habits. Or better yet, break the habit in advance, even before you start attending kindergarten.

Give your child more attention, warmth, affection. To a kid who has started going to kindergarten, pay more attention, warmth, affection, hug more, show your love, spend more time together. In this way, you compensate for the lack of mom during the day and once again convince that mom continues to love, and does not leave in the garden, because she no longer loves.

If it is difficult for a child to part with his mother, let his father, grandmother or someone else take him to kindergarten. At least at first.

Remember, the child feels your anxiety! Therefore, standing under the door of the group and listening to what is happening there, walking around the garden and “peeping in the windows” will not lead to anything good. A child who feels his mother’s anxiety or fear begins to be afraid himself and think that something unpleasant can happen to him in the garden. For such a child, the adaptation period may not end for a very long time – until the mother calms down and releases her feelings.

Accept the child’s feelings. Eliminate notations, persuasions… If a child cries in the garden, misses his mother, never forbid his feelings, do not immediately try to convince that these feelings are in vain. Just accept them, show that you understand that it’s okay to feel that way. Say: “Yes, I see you missed / missed you a lot!” “You were scared, sad, sad…”, “You want to cry, cry!”

Difficulties with adaptation are due to the unwillingness or fear of parents to let the child go away from them.
