To this day, visitors to the palace park can feel the heady air, which allows even people with chronic respiratory diseases to breathe deeply. Panoramic display of the famous Swallow’s Nest (Cape Ai-Todor, Gaspra village), which resembles a medieval castle and is the hallmark of the entire South Coast. Like a swallow’s nest, it seems to have stuck just above the cliff, on a sheer cliff at a height of 38 m above sea level. Excursion to Alupka to the “Romance of the Vorontsov Palace and Park”, which are considered a masterpiece of palace and park art. The palace is a striking harmony of eastern and western styles. The ceremonial interiors of the palace have almost completely retained their original decoration. Each room, and there are only about 150 of them, is made in a personal style. The materials that were used in the decoration are reflected in the names of the rooms. The Chinese cabinet is trimmed with the finest rice straws, decor elements are embroidered with beads and silk. The decoration of the Chintz room is skillfully made from this fabric, the Blue Living Room, the highlight of which is the stucco ornament in the form of petals and leaves (there are about three thousand petals and each of them is not like the other). Vorontsovsky Park is a fabulous place on the Southern Coast of Crimea, these are huge sprawling trees, shady alleys, winding paths, exotic flowers, bizarre stone blocks from solidified magma, ejected by a volcano in ancient times, called “Big Chaos” and “Small Chaos” . Vorontsovsky Park is an amazing combination of creations of nature and human hands. Here you want to walk for hours and come back here again and again … Dinner. nine0005

Day 4: Breakfast. Release of rooms. Excursion to Bakhchisaray “Oasis of Eastern Culture” – the former capital of the Crimean Khanate, an oasis of Eastern culture in the Crimea, which can rightfully be called the main treasury of medieval monuments on the peninsula. A tour of the Old Town, which is characterized by a traditional layout preserved from the Middle Ages (narrow curved streets) and traditional Crimean Tatar houses. Inspection of the Khan’s palace complex (Khan-Saray), which includes: several palace buildings, the palace square, a harem, the Khan’s kitchen and stable, the Khan’s mosque, the Persian Garden, the famous “Fountain of Tears, sung by the great Pushkin in the poem “The Fountain of Bakhchisaray”. In our time, the Bakhchisaray Khan’s Palace has turned into a museum-reserve. His entire collection is dedicated exclusively to the life, crafts and culture of the Crimean Tatars. Excursion to the Holy Assumption Cave Monastery – one of the very first Orthodox shrines in the Crimea. The monastery is located near Bakhchisaray in the Maryam-Dare gorge. This place, despite being a Christian shrine, is also revered by Muslims. Maryam-Dare translated into Russian means the Virgin Mary. The Holy Assumption Cave Monastery was cut down right in the wall of a high, slightly protruding mountain range. It is a very impressive sight. The windows of the rock churches offer a picturesque view of the Crimean mountains. The altar part of the central temple of the monastery was also carved inside a sheer cliff. Near the monastery there is a holy spring. Excursion to the cave city of Chufut Kale – the most preserved of all the cave cities of Crimea. Everyone who visits here finds something of his own in this amazing cave city, which came out of the depths of centuries and keeps something mysterious and unforgettable.
