About Us | cdca-html-site

Introduction:
Christian Day Child Academy (CDCA) is an educational preschool where children can learn, discover and create in a Christ-centered environment.  We believe that God is the source of wisdom, and His truth (the Bible) should be the foundation of learning. Our approach to learning is a balance of free-choice time at learning centers and structured group activities. Our facility includes a large, bright classroom and a fenced-in outdoor play area.

Objectives:
We want to provide a comprehensive learning program that stimulates spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical and social development.  We desire that, like the child, Jesus, our children will “grow in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and man.” (Luke 2:52)

Our desire is to foster an academic foundation for all future school experiences. In order to do this, we believe that we must encourage “growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. ” (2 Peter 3:18)

At CDCA we provide appropriate indoor and outdoor play experiences that contribute to a child’s total development. Through all of our activities, we encourage the development of curiosity, creativity and problem-solving abilities.

Preschool is also designed to help children learn and develop social skills, personal responsibilities, self-discipline, control and confidence. It allows children to foster security with adults outside of the child’s family while the parents partner with the teachers to meet the needs of each child.

Description

Our suburban SCHOOL AND PRESCHOOL is an education and health center for children under 18 and their parents.

Teachers of the Children’s Academy of Sciences are flexible, empathic and constantly improve their skills in the course of specialized courses and international internships.

Subject teaching is practiced in the Children’s Academy, starting from kindergarten. All lessons are conducted by subject teachers, and curators-educators accompany the children, this allows you to immediately set a certain depth in the study of the subject.

USE and USE experts are preparing for exams, starting from high school!

English lessons prepare children for the Cambridge ESOL exam. Students receive an international certificate!

One of the main methods of the Academy is interdisciplinary immersion – the study of a topic from the point of view of different disciplines and their mutual integration.

Also, the Academy widely uses a system-activity approach, blended education, the Singapore method, project activities, modular learning, lessons outside the walls. Cultural and aesthetic education is actively promoted, field excursion programs, theatrical activities and historical and literary holidays have been developed.

️Dives, biological and archaeological practices are held in summer. Thus, children can plunge into a variety of areas and feel what is more interesting and closer to them.

In elementary school we rely on D.B. Elkonin and V.V. Davydov, textbook on mathematics by L.G. Peterson.

The Academy has created a motivating learning environment that encourages children to ask questions and analyze. There are many places and locations, with visual layouts, bas-reliefs, and educational maps.

Children also have their own swimming pool, a rope park, a rich library, a physics laboratory, a climbing wall for the smallest.

A large gymnasium and greenhouse are planned, and the atmosphere is very warm and homely.

Delivery of children by bus from the city, five meals a day, it is possible to leave the child at the boarding house.

The Academy has a medical and psychological support service.

The academic day includes academic activity, sports, creativity, development of soft skills, project activities, walks and hikes.

Interesting story

The Children’s Academy of Sciences is a space for inquisitive kids aged 3-11 who are interested in the world around them, want to know everything and everything. This is a platform where various developmental activities are held, a kindergarten operates, thematic and memorable holidays, birthdays are organized. The Children’s Academy of Sciences has 10 interactive zones that imitate the planet: the hall of the Arctic and Antarctic (salt cave), the biology room (petting zoo), the hall dedicated to Russia, Space (with a rocket, a model of the solar system), the hall of the relief and continents of the Earth. The children will also have a large collection of minerals and stones, a music room (it contains instruments from all over the world), an underwater world zone dedicated to the relief of the bottom of the World Ocean, a zone of mountains, geography and history (dedicated to the formation of St. Petersburg). The academy has an orchard and a greenhouse. Games in these zones will allow the child to understand the relationship of different objects, to get carried away with the sciences. A music workshop has also been opened at the academy, where boys and girls are invited to individual lessons under the SOFT-MOZART program. During the training, the child will be able to quickly master the piano, grand piano, synthesizer, learn to read music. Special attention deserves a kindergarten located in the academy, which has full and part-time groups. The guys play, study under the guidance of sensitive educators, and every Wednesday they devote to the study of a specific topic: Ancient civilizations, the Renaissance, Enlightenment, etc., ecology, medicine, anatomy. The academy often organizes themed birthdays: a birthday boy meets a paleontologist with friends and goes to excavations, plunges into the era of heroes, knights, pirates, turns into an Indian, a princess, becomes a brilliant chemist. Christian football is not a tournament held by the Russian Orthodox Church and not the tactics of the Vatican team. A gaming philosophy that is being developed by several football clubs and non-profit organizations at once. “Bombardier” talks about this phenomenon, which is developing around the world.

Minnesota United forward Christian Ramirez went nine games without a goal last season. Stagnation happens to many forwards. The previous year, in his debut season, he had won the North American Football League and was almost named to the Ecuador national team. Critics wrote him off. But Ramirez had his own opinion on this matter.

The second half of the season fixed everything and Ramirez was able to return. He answered the skeptics with 13 goals scored. And although this figure was less than last season, Ramirez showed himself as a confident and strong-willed striker. How did Ramirez learn to deal with setbacks? He believes that his character was formed in North Carolina at the American League Two Christian club Charlotte Eagles. “I am not broken by defeats or failures. Previously, losses literally torn me from the inside, but now it no longer threatens me, ”the player invigorates.

The club’s Christian approach sets them apart from any other football team. They consider themselves almost crusaders: their mission is to make football closer to religion and its prescriptions. They want to win, but not at any cost. Their main value is to play fair. It’s hard, but honest. Without deceit. No dramatic simulations. No disputes with the arbitrator.

“Playing for this team had a big impact on me,” says Ramirez. – Now you will not see how I quarrel with the referee, how I lash out at my teammates or relatives because of defeats. I leave all emotions on the field and concentrate directly on the game, and not on breaking the rules or talking. I adjusted myself to the command.”

The Charlotte Eagles are a North Carolina football team founded in 1991. Plays in the North American PDL (Premier Development League). The league is considered the fourth tournament in the United States and Canada. It is played by both amateurs and professionals. In 2003, for example, the current coach and the US national team Jurgen Klinsmann played in the PDL. But mostly PDL players are young football players with an incomplete higher education and a desire to sign a professional contract with a club in MLS.

9The 0002 Eagles are almost entirely made up of these young American players. There are only four legionnaires in the team. From Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago and Canada. In addition to the men’s football club, the Charlotte Eagles structure has a women’s team and a street football team. And, of course, the children’s academy.

The Eagles isn’t just a private American football camp for wealthy kids. The leadership considers its main goal to be the simultaneous physical and moral development of athletes, their unity with God on the football field. They see themselves as crusaders whose mission is to make football fairer by raising a new generation of players. With a different ideology and a different outlook.

Wins are important to the Eagles. But not victories obtained “at any cost”. It is important that the wards play the right football. Tough but honest. No simulations, no rudeness, no disputes with referees.

“Our staff takes care of your children the way the Lord intended. We read the Bible every day and tell parables. Our coaches share stories with children about how God changed them for the better. What we are doing is a way of glorifying the Lord, ”says the official website of the Charlotte Eagles football camp.

The organization actively advertises its activities on the Internet. In addition to the official website with detailed information about sports projects, the Eagles have a YouTube channel that posts matches of the main team and commercials. In them, coaches hug children and sing songs about their love for football and Jesus.

The club is funded by the non-profit organization Missionary Athletes International (MIA). It has a clearly articulated “mission”: “Praise God and broadcast the message of Jesus Christ through the global football system. ” MIA funds football academies on five continents. Now about a thousand pupils study in them, and in the entire history of the organization, 52,000 young athletes have passed through it.

In addition to the Charlotte Eagles, the Missionaries fund clubs in Chicago (Chicago Eagles) and California (Southern California Seahorses). The emblem of each team is an animal, a cross and a soccer ball.

MIA is the most successful sports-religious organization. But there are others. Mississippi Brilla and Virginia King’s Warriors play in the same PDL. The former spread the divine light (Brilla in Spanish – to shine), the latter consider themselves the soldiers of the Lord. This cult is reminiscent of the movement of “strong (literally – muscular) Christianity” (Muscular Christianity), which developed in England in the 19th century. Society no longer vented righteous anger through crusades and the burning of infidels. Therefore, the Anglican Church began to actively promote a healthy lifestyle, quoting the Apostle Paul: “Strengthen hands that hang down and weak knees” (Hebrews). The idea of a strong Christianity, as it turned out, is still alive today.

Christian football is based on a traditional, conservative upbringing. And in addition to the rules of fair play, it also contains, for example, the rejection of homosexuality. The ideology of the MIA and other organizations unequivocally condemns sexual relations outside of monogamous heterosexual marriage. Players must agree with this.

It turns out that a gay or bisexual person is not allowed to play in “Christian” clubs. Well, or he needs to hide his sexual orientation. And it is not clear how much the “traditional education” of young footballers borders on homophobia, and the love of God – on the imposition of religious values.

Perhaps that’s why the Charlotte Eagles only play in the American League 4. Modern Western society with its tolerance is unlikely to support an organization that is not going to coach gays, even if they believe in God and share the philosophy of Christian football.
