I would not recommend this day…

I would not recommend this daycare. I took a tour and was disgusted. I also thought that the Director was rude and snobby. I did not feel welcomed.

Worried

My 2 grandchildren attend this center. My husband and I are concerned for them. Within the first month the baby (which was only 6 mos.) was bitten by another evidently older child which left a bad bite mark on her head. Why would older children be in with a baby and why was the baby left on the floor unattended. I went to pick her up one day and she was on the floor again with a toddler almost ready to step or fall on her. I had to alert the teacher. Has anyone had any bad experiences from this place? My daughter is unsure of what to do either. We need the kids kept safe.

A childcare center may not be the first thing you’d expect at a ski lodge. Small World Child Care center in Mammoth Lakes, California, is equipped with everything you’d find at any daycare facility. Most providers who successfully make it through the first few years eventually start considering the idea of whether or not they could afford some help with the daycare……

The Daily Walk

Many years ago I decided to add a daily walk around our neighborhood to our morning schedule. We started out small by walking around our long block. We clocked it in the car and found that it was six-tenth of a mile. That took about seventeen to twenty minutes depending on the skill set and age of the walkers…..

Transporting Daycare Kids

I know there are many types of agreements between parents and providers when it comes to having children in the provider’s vehicle. There are parents who want it for their kids and many who pay providers to transport their child to and from school and preschool. Some providers transport their own children to school and have field trips as a major selling point of their business…….

In 2023, a museum dedicated to NBA superstar LeBron James will open in Akron, Ohio.

“An ordinary guy from Akron will have his own museum in his hometown,” writes Akron Beacon Journal journalist Craig Webb.

The LeBron James Museum will be part of the former Tangier entertainment complex, which will be completely renovated and renamed House Three Thirty.

The museum will occupy most of the ground floor, which will also house restaurants, bars and retail space. The museum will explore LeBron’s childhood, NBA career, and off-site activities.
