Belarusian parents’ stories about kindergarten and teachers

Share with friends

When parents send their child to a preschool, it is still unknown which of them gets more stress. Kindergarten can be perceived in different ways: as a rescue for tired mothers, an opportunity to go to work, a way to socialize a child, or a place full of dangers.

Illustrative photo

Some parents vigilantly watch over their children, finding fault with trifles, others are calm about bruises and bumps. Moms shared their funny and not so funny stories about such a different kindergarten.

“Don’t you see? I’m having a snack!

Marina tells a story about her son and cannot help laughing, although it was many years ago.

— My son adapted well in the kindergarten, but he was already very independent and wayward. For example, I didn’t want to sleep in any day – I got enough sleep at night. The teachers tried to fight him, explaining that I simply did not know how to put him down, and the children were obliged to sleep during the day. I just laughed, because I knew the character of my boy, it was almost impossible to make him do something. He calmly undressed and went to bed, did not throw tantrums, but very quickly realized that while everyone was sleeping, he would have to entertain himself with something for two hours. And he began to sneak toys or picture books into bed. The teachers noticed that the contraband was confiscated, but he stubbornly continued.

One day I come to pick him up, and the teacher, not holding back laughter, tells me a story. She laid, she says, everyone for a daytime sleep, the group obediently sniffled. After a while I went to check. And on the bed where my baby sleeps, a hill of blankets. And suspicious sounds come from the hill: panting, sniffing, stirring. Fits on tiptoe, blanket – once, sharply. And he is there with an apple the size of his head, all smeared with juice, trying to bite off, bites into it like a hare. The teacher was dumbfounded and asked: “What are you doing?”. And he told her so solidly: “Don’t you see, or what? I’m having a snack! and a blanket over your head.

This “snacking” went all over the kindergarten, and the teachers stopped fighting with my stubborn. They gave him coloring books and books so that he would not be bored!

“Once I came to the kindergarten earlier than usual…”

Dasha has not very pleasant memories of the kindergarten, she says that she didn’t even think that adults could treat children like that.

— As soon as I sent my daughter to kindergarten, illnesses began. It would be nice if the kids in the group got sick, the flu went around or SARS – but no. And the child seems to be hardened, and the weather outside is good, and the group is warm.

And one evening she came to the kindergarten earlier than usual to pick up her child. I go into the locker room, and my girl is sitting on the closet with her bare booty, in one T-shirt. It was rather cold in the corridor, the entrance was directly from the street.

I burst into the group, and the nanny calmly tells me, they say, your girl peed herself, brought her to change clothes, and carried her wet tights to the radiator. And left her half-naked on a closet that is more than one and a half meters high!

I, of course, made a scandal, and at first the nanny could not even understand what her fault was. I went to the manager, I wanted to write a complaint, but she somehow dissuaded me, begged me, promised that this would never happen again. And I was known as a “scandalous mother”, educators and nannies were afraid of me, but I don’t care, even call me a pot, just don’t put me in the oven. If only my child was safe…

“Well, give it to him there!..”

— I don’t remember the difficulties or problems in the kindergarten that would concern me or my daughter, — says Anna . – But once my Masha told me that the teacher takes a slipper and beats one boy on the head. To be honest, I got excited. I decided that I needed to either tell my parents or talk to the teacher. But somewhere in a couple of days I heard a conversation between the parents of that very boy and the teacher. Mom and dad said: “Well, you give it to him there, if anything, otherwise he doesn’t understand the words.” And I didn’t interfere, since the parents themselves are asking, why am I going to climb?

First love and plans to escape

— They say the first loves come in kindergarten. So a boy fell in love with me, his name was Valik, – Natalya recalls her childhood . – Walked on the heels and did everything I say. My faithful page was ready with me both in fire and in water. Valik and I decided to dig behind the veranda under the fence. They wanted freedom! They dug for a whole week, with children’s scoops. Let’s go for a walk and let’s dig. The hole is big, tomorrow, probably, we will break out already. And the next day we come – there is no hole, they dug it in! What to do? We dig again. Tomorrow is the same story. We spat on this case, tired. And then I heard how the janitor complained to our nanny that dogs had got into the territory of the garden, they say, they dig and dig, damned! And, most importantly, what stubborn, they chose one place!

Another story was short. They sent me to kindergarten for the first time. And after a few days, the parents ask: “What is the name of your teacher, daughter?”. And I am so important, with knowledge of the matter: “Bronisliva Fedosovna!” And I could not understand what they were laughing at!

“You have a wild child!”

— I took the little one to the kindergarten, I was worried, of course, but she seemed to be doing well, — tells Katya . – The teachers say, they say, go, mommy, the child is upset because of you. Come back tonight, everything will be fine. I ran for my daughter earlier, the group was on a walk. I look, my girl is standing in a secluded corner of the walking area and sobbing so bitterly, her heart is breaking. And there is no one nearby, or rather, somewhere in the distance the children were walking, the teacher with them. I to her: “What happened, why is she crying?”. And she: “We don’t know, she roars all day and no persuasion helps. She doesn’t want to play with children and refuses to eat. I had to put it separately so that it would not interfere with others. In general, your child is non-contact! You have a wild child!

I didn’t like the “pedagogical” diagnosis at all. And therefore, the daughter didn’t go to the garden anymore, they called her grandmother, and she did an excellent job with my “wild non-contact monster”!

frank interview of Mrs Notebook participant Lilia Altynkhuzina

The second stage of the project “Mrs. Notepad” was held in a cozy place for your rest “Mangold”.

15 participants passed to the second stage of the project “Mrs Notebook Volgodonsk”. And now it’s time to get to know each of them a little closer. And the stage – acquaintance will help in this. This is a candid interview in which each participant revealed herself in her own way.

First participant – Lilia Altynkhuzina

How old are you and what do you do?

I’m 36 years old. I do hair extensions and styling.

Tell us a little about yourself, about your childhood and the development of your personality.

I am from Volgodonsk, I lived here until 2009. Studied up to 11th grade, graduated from music school. And then she entered the technical school for hairdressing. She worked for about three years. But I was always missing something. I have always been like a bird in a cage. I wanted to enter a music school, but since I had a strict dad, he tried to keep me close to him.

How was his strictness manifested?

There was a lot of control. There was also tyranny. But despite this, I am grateful to him in many ways, because it was my dad who helped me become a person and a person. We had a very tough upbringing at home. I also have two older brothers. We had a family that did not need to be saved. We lived very well and from the outside everything looked very beautiful. People never thought that we have any problems in the family. But it was impossible to live at home. At the age of 15, I had a wild desire to leave home.

Why hairdressing?

I didn’t really want to study for this specialty at all. My father chose my profession. He wanted me to get to work as soon as possible so that I could get married. But I never wanted to get married.

Why didn’t you want to get married?

I knew that once I got married, nothing would change. Because from one addiction we get into another.

What happened after you graduated from technical school?

I went to work, but my dad didn’t really want to let me go to work either. He always said that I should not strain and should stay at home, but at the same time he never gave me much money. I wanted to earn money and provide for myself. I plowed, a lot.

You are 36 years old, but you are not married and have no children. Why is that?

I believe that a person matures for a family by the age of 40. But this is my personal opinion. I did not set myself the goal of jumping out to get married, I have never been married. There was the strongest love in my life, but it did not end with marriage either.

And why did this love end at all?

When I saw it, I just clicked … It was the only time in my life when I realized that it was mine! I went out, saw him and just clicked. We broke up because of my jealousy. I was jealous of everything. And it so happened that I hit him.

Hit? For what?

I then lived in Gelendzhik. Once we went to the beach with him and I wanted us to go to the paid beach. But he was afraid to leave the car there. I offered him to pay extra for paid parking, but he did not want to. And so we drove back, I was offended by him. I had to go home, he brought me and I went to change. But when I got out, I saw that he had left. And then I clicked! I caught the car, came to him, knocked on the door. He opened the door and I charged him!

What is your ideal man?

This is a man who talks little and does a lot. If he talks a lot, then he is a slacker and does not know how to make money. And there will be no such man next to me.

When did you return to Volgodonsk?

I had the idea of returning two years ago. I came from Cyprus and realized that I had to go home, because in Gelendzhik I was simply not interested. In general, I’m tired of the Black Sea coast. I lived there for 12 years! But I came here this winter.

How did you decide to take part in the Mrs. Notepad competition?

I was in the hospital and saw that the casting was going on. I thought it was interesting, besides, I recently starred in a movie, not in the lead role, of course. I acted as an extra in the film “Vacation 2” and in the TV series “Sailor”. I feel comfortable in front of the camera, it was interesting for me to look at myself from the outside and understand whether I am a winner in life. Many say that they do not see the point in participating and so they know that they are queens. But they are just afraid of competition and afraid of losing.

Which stage do you fear the most?

I didn’t make friends with sports. I went in for sports, but I don’t understand why this stage is needed.

Why should readers vote for you?

It’s up to the readers to decide. If they like me as a person, they will show sympathy for me, despite my complex character. I will be happy if they love me for who I am.

Colonel-General Aleksandr Lapin, commander of the Russian Central Military District, awarded his tanker son who led the attack on the Ukrainian Sumy and Chernihiv – an unsuccessful offensive, as it was already clear by that time. On the day the TV channel Zvezda aired the story about the award, the Russian army was retreating from the Chernihiv and Kyiv directions. From telephone intercepts of the Security Service of Ukraine and the stories of the Russian military, it is known about the poor condition of Russian equipment, insufficient supply of the army and losses during the offensive in the Kiev and Chernihiv directions in the first days of the war.

Two very similar men in full combat ammunition, modern helmets and body armor shake hands against the backdrop of a broken fence and white Ukrainian huts in a village in the Chernihiv region. There is a cordon around the perimeter.

“Congratulations from the bottom of my heart, for steadfastness, courage and bravery. Congratulations,” says the older one energetically. “I serve Russia,” the recipient quietly answers him, his uniform looks a little more shabby, a piece of red tape is pasted on his right sleeve.

On the morning of March 29, a story appeared on the website of the Zvezda television channel of the Russian Ministry of Defense: Russian Colonel-General Alexander Lapin, Commander of the Central Military District (CMD), presents military personnel with state awards for courage and heroism shown during a special operation in Ukraine. The award ceremony was held somewhere in the “Chernihiv direction”. To conduct it, Colonel-General Lapin personally arrived on the territory of Ukraine.

The author of this story on the Zvezda TV channel says that the Order of Courage, the medal “For Courage”, the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland”, the Zhukov Medal were awarded by the commander of the troops of the Central Military District (TsVO) to servicemen who showed courage and heroism during the liberation of settlements in the Chernihiv region”.

  • How many Russian soldiers have already died in the war with Ukraine – a new BBC study
  • One in five is an officer. What do Russia’s confirmed losses in the war with Ukraine say?

However, the Russian army did not achieve any military successes in this direction. On that day (after negotiations between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations in Istanbul), Russia announced a retreat from the Kyiv and Chernigov directions.

In Moscow, this maneuver was later called a “step of good will”, while in Kyiv they announced the successful repulse of aggression.

How it became clear that Lapin is the son of General Lapin

There is Lieutenant Colonel Denis Aleksandrovich Lapin in the Russian army. We found out that this 36-year-old lieutenant colonel is the son of General Alexander Lapin.

Denis Lapin is in command of the 1st Guards Tank Regiment, which is part of the Taman Motorized Rifle Division known since World War II. This is military unit No. 58198. The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine named the 1st Tank Regiment among those units that take part in the invasion.

Relatives of the servicemen who served in this unit, having read the screenshots of the plot of the Zvezda TV channel, confirmed to the BBC Russian Service that General Lapin is rewarding Lieutenant Colonel Lapin.

The BBC obtained a photograph taken at the location of the 1st Tank Regiment

Judging by the available information about Lapin Jr., the father always had the opportunity to look after his son’s career.

Lapin Sr. in the 2000s served first as chief of staff, and then as commander of the 20th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade stationed in Volgograd. Lapin Jr. was also registered in the same apartment with him for some time.

The End of History Podcast

It was in Volgograd that Lapin Jr. most likely began his military career: in 2009, he (or his full namesake) received a letter of thanks from the head of Volgograd – for “exemplary performance of military duty, promotion authority and prestige of military service. This most complete namesake of Lapin Jr. in the rank of lieutenant then commanded a tank company of a separate tank battalion in another local unit.

Six years later, in 2015, the full namesake already commands a tank battalion in the same 20th brigade, which was then commanded by Lapin Sr. (by that time he was already the chief of staff of the Eastern Military District).

“In order to perform the exercise perfectly, the crew needs to keep within three minutes. Fire the first shot no later than 20 seconds later and hit all targets, and the tank – no more than 2 shells,” Denis Lapin commented on the exercises in a report from the local branch of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.

In 2016, the name of Lapin Jr. is mentioned in the departmental “Red Star”. There he talked about a “new tactical technique” – “tank carousel”.

The GetContact service, which shows how the subscriber’s number is recorded by his friends, reflects the career of Denis Lapin: someone listed him as a captain, someone as a major, and someone already knows him as a lieutenant colonel.

What the regiment is known for and how it ended up in Ukraine

The 1st Guards Tank Regiment is the historical successor of the 1st Tank Brigade, which was commanded by Marshal Mikhail Katukov during the Great Patriotic War. It is this connection at 1941 won the first major victory over the tank army of Heinz Guderian, and then distinguished himself during the defense of Moscow.

Tanks of the regiment regularly participate in Moscow victory parades: “A column of main battle tanks T-72B3M of the First Guards Chertkovskiy Tank Regiment named after Marshal Katukov of the Taman Division is passing through Red Square, captain Rasim Tagiyev is in command of the parade crew. During the war years, the regiment was awarded six military orders” , – the commentator told the audience of the parade 9May 2021.

The author of the photo, Rossiya 1

Photo caption,

Captain Rasim Tagiev at the Moscow parade in 2021

Captain Tagiev, who was driving along Red Square last year, was captured by Ukrainians in March 2022. In a video posted by the Ukrainian security forces on Youtube on March 13, Capt. Rasim Tagiyev says that he serves as a company commander in unit 58198.

He calls Lieutenant Colonel Denis Lapin his commander. Already in captivity, Tagiyev said that on February 24, he led a column of about 30 tanks across the Russian-Ukrainian border.

According to the prisoner, up to the border with Ukraine, the command told the servicemen that it was only about exercises. When the tanks crossed the border, communication with the command was lost, and the tankers realized that they were at war.

Losses of the regiment: what the Russian military themselves told

After Tagiyev was taken prisoner, the Ukrainian special services published an interception of conversations of the servicemen of this unit, where they discuss the capture of the captain, as well as the imminent awarding of the regiment commander.

“You’ll get something for this, no? Will the veterans give you certificates?” – asks a serviceman, presumably from Russian territory. “They should give a veteran woman. The fact that we are here, we have to pay money for this. … (Damn) he knows whether it will be or not,” his colleague, who ended up on Ukrainian territory, answers. “In short, do you want to neigh? Here is Lapin a colonel is also given an Order of Courage, and tankers . … (many) died, in captivity …. (many). We are, in short, stuck here. Lapin says: “…. (don’t give a damn) about artillery, we move on.” We are generally not considered human.”

In the course of the same conversation, one of the servicemen says that Lieutenant Colonel Yevgeny Starodubov, deputy commander of the regiment for armaments, head of the technical unit, was also captured.

Youtube has a recording made immediately after a group of Russian soldiers were taken prisoner. They stand confused in the middle of the field, there are no tanks in the frame, and Lieutenant Colonel Starodubov says that a group of 18 military men, including two wounded and one platoon commander, were captured along with him, and that they crossed the Russian-Ukrainian border in the area of \u200b\u200bthe settlement Miropolye.

either in jail or in the hospital. Saveliev sits on a metal bench and says that the servicemen received the order to cross the border from Lapin, whom he calls a colonel, and that he last saw him from the Russian side of the border.

Several Russian servicemen who were captured said that their tanks simply stalled after crossing the Russian-Ukrainian border in the Chernihiv region, after which they tried to walk to the nearest settlement and were taken prisoner.

According to Lieutenant Dmitry Koloyartsev, the column in which he moved was destroyed by Javelins and Bayraktars.

A total of 19records of interrogations of servicemen of Unit 58198, including detailed conversations with Lieutenant Colonel Starodubov and Captain Tagiev.

Captain Vasily Pichugin said that on the first day of the invasion, Denis Lapin entered the territory of Ukraine with his subordinates. According to the lieutenant of the medical service Daniil Pshenichny, the commanders of the unit downloaded maps of the Sumy and Kyiv regions to the navigators.

The Russian service of the BBC knows at least three cases when servicemen of the 1st Tank Regiment went missing there after the beginning of the invasion into the territory of Ukraine. They are neither in the lists of the dead, nor in the lists of the wounded.

Relatives of these servicemen are now trying to get at least some information about the fate of their loved ones from the command of the unit. One relative claims that the command set the task for the servicemen to march through the territory of Ukraine and occupy the Kyiv airport “Borispol”.

Through the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, the Russian army in the first month of the war tried to develop an offensive against Kyiv from the northeast direction. At some point, the advanced Russian columns reached Brovary, but in these two areas they got stuck in positional battles, failing to take control of the regional centers.

At the end of March, after talks in Istanbul, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the withdrawal of troops from the north and northeast of Ukraine.

Television has arrived

From the very beginning of the Russian invasion, the Security Service of Ukraine has daily published on its Youtube channel telephone conversations between Russian servicemen and their relatives and friends in Russia. Usually such negotiations are difficult to geolocate, to tie to a specific time or place in order to verify their authenticity.

where you can hear the military discussing the arrival of television at the location of the troops and how Lapin the father awards Lapin the son:

how did the brains start: we will lay down weapons now, you go to … (far), there is no support, there is no defense, climb, general, with me into the trench, stay here for a day. – And what are they? – And put your son, bitch, here , to whom he came to present the Order of Courage. Climb into the trench with us and sit. How did they start … (sort things out – BBC ), television is filming…”

After that, we found the plot of the TV channel “Zvezda” about the award.

General’s views: about the war and the officer’s career

Lapin, commander of the troops of the Central Military District, does not comment on the course of hostilities.0003

(On the other hand, on April 22, his deputy, General Minnekaev, made a loud statement. Speaking at a meeting of the Union of Defense Industries of the Sverdlovsk Region, he suddenly spoke about Russia’s goals during the “second stage” of the war. According to the general, this is taking control of all regions southeastern Ukraine, including not only a corridor to annexed Crimea, but also access to the borders of Moldova and Transnistria.)

General Lapin meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin in 2018

Little is known about Lapin Sr. , as about any high-ranking Russian military man. However, sometimes such military men give interviews, where light is shed on their views.

“War is inevitable. It was, is and will be. It is a disaster, the cross of our civilization,” Lapin, then a major general, argued in an interview with Novaya Gazeta in 2013. “But when you think about life and death, about creation and destruction, you discover the interconnection in all this. This is war. It cleanses from the accumulated evil, allows you to destroy the old and build the new. But you will be able to know its meaning, its strength and significance only when you understand that the victims brought are not in vain.”

In the same interview, Lapin says that “in today’s material world, money is an absolute evil,” and in order to become a general, a graduate of a military school must have three important properties: to devote himself completely to the service, to be able to refuse the many temptations that surround and move towards excellence every day.

“It is precisely in striving for excellence and gaining experience that the key to moving up the career ladder. All the difficulties that fall on the shoulders of an officer are like trials in a computer game: there are also obstacles and barriers. If you were able to pass them, albeit stumbling, but found the strength to rise and go, – you go to a new level. It’s about the same in our officer service. The only difference is that you, unlike a computer game, have only one life, “the man said in 2013 , who in 2022 went to Ukrainian Chernigov to award his own son a medal after a failed military operation of the Russian army in a foreign country.

The BBC Russian service tried to get a comment from Lieutenant Colonel Lapin, but his phone was turned off, and he did not answer the email at the time of publication of the text .

The BBC Russian service sent a request to the Russian Ministry of Defense asking for comment on whether it is common practice for the department when a father rewards his son, whether reports that Lieutenant Colonel Lapin was also promoted to the rank of colonel, and is the Ministry of Defense doing any work on the return of military personnel from military unit 5819 from captivity8.
