Anyone can make one:
For better or worse, anyone can write a blog post about anything they want. Everyone has a voice and the best voices will rise to the top.
The writer can show their personality:
In blog posts, the writer has more leeway to add in their voice and personality than other types of writing.
Blogs are a great form of mass communication:
You can help people, learn new things, entertain your audience-the possibilities are endless and amazing. Blogging opens up all of these to a very wide audience.
You can make money:
Get the right blog going and you can make a lot of money through advertising and sponsored posts.
It allows people to craft better thoughts:
Instead of reading haphazard, uneducated Facebook statuses, it’s much better to see people’s thought process in a well-written blog post.
You can establish a community:
Blogging allows you to connect with other individuals who share the same interests. Sharing ideas and opinions within your community helps establish yourself as a thought leader.
Good for SEO:
Keeping content on your site fresh and relevant, you can use your blog to boost the search engine ranking (SEO) of your site and your business.
It brings people back to your site:
If your blog is strong enough and updated regularly, people will come back looking for more and bring traffic back to your site as well.
It’s free:
It costs you a grand total of zero dollars to post to the blog, so if you have something to say, there’s nothing to stop you.
You can establish yourself as a thought leader:
A blog is a great place for your original thoughts, and it can be a wonderful way to show off your individuality. If people like your ideas, you can become a thought leader in your industry!

Virginia teacher shot to death by 6-year-old student speaks of recovery: ‘can’t get out of bed’ for days | Incident and Accident
RICHMOND, Virginia. Virginia teacher who was shot and wounded by her 6-year-old student said she had four surgeries and was going through a difficult recovery period.
Speaking publicly for the first time since the January 6 shooting, first grade teacher Abby Zwerner said in an exclusive interview with NBC’s Savannah Guthrie that she has days when she “can’t get out of bed” while on others she is able to go about your day and make it to meetings.
“After going through what I’ve been through, I try to stay positive. You know, try to take a positive look at what happened and where my future is headed,” Zwerner said in part of an interview that aired Monday on NBC Nightly News.
Zwerner was hospitalized for almost two weeks after after being shot in the chest and left arm while teaching at Richneck Elementary School in Newport News, Virginia. to arms and shoot your teacher.0007
Zwerner’s lawyer Diana Toscano told reporters in January that concerned school staff had alerted school officials three times that the 6-year-old boy had a gun and threatened other students hours before Zwerner was shot dead. Toscano said the school administration “was paralyzed with apathy” and did not call the police, remove the boy from the classroom or close the school.
In early February, Zwerner’s legal notice of her intent to sue the school district stated that the boy who shot Zwerner repeatedly cursed staff and teachers, tried to beat students with a belt, and once strangled another teacher “until she stopped breathing “.

Police watch students return to Richneck Elementary School in Newport News, Virginia.
Two days before the shooting, the boy allegedly “slammed” Zwerner’s mobile phone and broke it, resulting in a one-day suspension. When the boy returned to her class the next day, he pulled a 9 out of his pocket.his mother’s millimeter pistol and shot her as she sat at the reading table, the legal notice said.

The Newport News School Board fired its superintendent after the shooting. Ebony Parker, an assistant director who had been a major figure in Zwerner’s intention to sue the notice, resigned.
The Newport News Attorney General said earlier this month that he would not press charges against the 6-year-old boy because the child lacked the competence to understand the legal system and what charges mean. But Newport News State Attorney Howard Gwynn said his office has not yet decided whether any adults will be prosecuted.
According to the police, the boy used his mother’s legally acquired gun. James Ellenson, the child’s mother’s lawyer, said in January that the guns were hidden on a high shelf in a closet and were locked away.
Ellenson said it was not clear how the boy gained access to the weapon. He also said that the boy “was part of a school care plan that included his mother or father visiting the school with him and escorting him to class every day.”
In a statement released through Ellenson, the boy’s family said the week of the shooting “was the first week we weren’t in class with him.”
“We will regret our absence on this day for the rest of our lives,” the statement says.
