Jackson’s father: “Michael had affairs with both dancers and princesses!”

Komsomolskaya Pravda

ABOUT DIFFERENCEMichael Jackson, dossier KP. RU

Maria REMIZOVA

September 29, 2009 8:43

[excerpts from the book]

The king of pop left us a few months ago. But until now, Michael Jackson fans around the world mourn his death.

Many of them believe that the singer left the earth so early because he had an unhappy childhood overshadowed by a tyrant father. Recall that during his lifetime, the legendary artist admitted that his father, Joseph Jackson, beat Michael and his brothers.

However, according to the singer, he forgave his father…

True, Jackson’s biographers claim that his father’s bullying really caused deep psychological trauma to Jackson – hence the desire to be white (and, therefore, unlike the hated tyrant parent) and disorder personal life…

Who knows, if Michael grew up in a more prosperous family, maybe the big star would have a long and happy life.

However, in his memoir The Golden Truth About the Jackson Family, Michael’s dad Joseph Jackson tried to show himself as a caring parent. Like, rumors about beating children are just fantasies of Michael and his brothers.

Another thing is strange – for some reason all Joseph Jackson’s children have stable memories of his heavy hand…

“Komsomolskaya Pravda” today publishes the most interesting excerpts from the memoirs of Joseph Jackson .

“Michael was always doing something stupid. You couldn’t take your eyes off him for a second, otherwise he would disappear, and then he would be found under a table or a bed. We were up to our necks looking after him.

When Michael grew up, it turned out that he did not like sports as much as his brothers. Most of all he liked going to the zoo, he just squealed with joy, watching the animals. He also liked to watch different shows on TV, and then repeat after the artists. As early as 5 years old he put on little performances, his face lit up with joy when the neighborhood kids watched his solo performances in our garden and gave him a standing ovation. 0004

I noticed quite early on that Michael could be a good artist if you worked with him properly. On the whole he was a good boy and did not create problems.

We accepted Michael into the group when he was a little under 5 years old. He was such a little boy then. At first he played the bongos. He wholeheartedly pounded his palms on the drums and was in the 7th heaven, he was joy.

One day my mother saw us rehearsing in the living room and heard Michael’s voice. The other boys tried to stop him from singing, they thought he was too young. “Leave him alone, let him sing,” said the mother.

Of course, the rest didn’t want to, but my mother explained to them that he had a beautiful voice, and I decided to make a singer out of him, and not leave him banging in the background.

In the 1990s, the ABC channel aired a mini-series about our family, in which everything is presented in a distorted form. Everything was shown wrong. For example, never in his life did Michael play Gary with a mouse. My wife was afraid of mice and would not tolerate them in the house. In addition, everyone knows that a mouse will not sit quietly in the kitchen if a child shines a flashlight in her eyes. And then I allegedly killed her!

In fact, we were a happy family, and this is largely due to my wife.

…I would like to talk a little about the fact that Pepsi Cola did commercials with Michael. Don and I originally negotiated this deal for all the boys, in addition to sponsoring the tour. All my boys had to do advertising for this firm. For some reason, my sons could not agree among themselves, and in the end the videos were made only with Michael. And he made so much money from it that no other artist had ever made before him. I can’t tell you here how much he got for it, but in those days it was a fortune.

Since then, other artists have also made a lot of money from advertising, but Michael was the first with whom it took on such dimensions. Michael and Pepsi’s deal is history.

Don’t forget that I have always been my boys’ manager for over 20 years, first with the Jackson 5, then with The Jacksons. From the first rehearsals at our house in Gary in 1962, when they signed their first contract with Steeltown, their second with Motown, and their third with Epic, I was their manager.

Since 1963, I have traveled with my sons from city to city, from state to state, and later from country to country. As a moderator, I made sure that they rehearsed regularly, that their costumes were ready, and that they were on time everywhere.

When they were minors, I managed their revenue and invested money for them, or invested in real estate. I spent many hours outside, accompanying my sons to every performance and making sure they got back to the hotel on time. I didn’t let my kids walk around the street alone at night.

With my management and under my direction they recorded 6 songs for Steeltown as the Jackson 5, about 13 albums for Motown – actually more than 20 if you count all the compilations and anthologies – and 6 albums for Epic as The Jacksons. I also worked for Michael as a manager and later co-manager on his first 8 solo records, including Off the Wall and Thriller.

I can’t count how many shows and tours we’ve had together. As the manager of our children, I have traveled all over the world with them. For more than 20 years of my life, I have handled the Jackson cases. In the summer of 1983, my managerial contract was officially over, but despite this, in the summer of 1984, I also put the Victory Tour on its feet. My family and I, we wrote the history of music.

… In my opinion, Michael’s success remains unsurpassed. Take Thriller, for example. For this album, Michael received 8 Grammy and 8 American music awards. The fact that he used to be with his brothers on world tours and had fans everywhere was a good foundation for all of this, and he deserved every one of these awards. I hope everyone understands that this success did not come – it was worth many years of hard work.

Shortly before my mother’s death, I saw a television program claiming absurd things about me and my son Michael. Including they said that he had plastic surgery on his eyes. It is not true.

There were also silly gossips about Michael’s leaving the house, which were also untrue. Someday any child leaves the parental home, this is normal. But if Michael Jackson leaves home, they immediately try to make a sensation out of it. Moreover, he just grew up and became a man. There were many other gossips, some even worse than those I mentioned, but why repeat this nonsense?

After the broadcast, I again asked myself why such incredible stories were being made up about me and Michael. Why are they attacking him and trying to ruin his reputation? I can only hope that people don’t believe everything they’re told.

In his book Moonwalk, Michael writes that the Jackson 5 were among the lucky few who had already laid the foundations for their future wealth in childhood – money, real estate and other investments. I have settled all these matters for all my sons. By the age of 18, each of them owned real estate and had enough money in the bank. I believe my other sons can also attest to this.

The next topic I would like to discuss is the rumor that I beat my children when they were little. I want to clear up this gossip. I was responsible for 6 extremely healthy and strong boys. Katherine and I shared the upbringing of our children. I took care of our sons, and she took care of her daughters. Was I strict? Yes, I had to, otherwise, with 9 children, chaos would have started very quickly. First of all, it concerns Michael. He had more energy than any other child and was truly hyperactive.

So, if one of the boys did something, he was punished for it. As a child, if I did something wrong, my father also punished me. That’s how I was taught, and that’s how I raised my boys. I figured I should have acted like this because my sons should have known that they would be punished if they were involved in something bad or took drugs. I was strict with them, because so many children in Gary were in gangs, I did not want my children to get involved in drugs and crime in any way.

Those of my sons who already have children of their own understand me now, and other parents also told me that they understand very well how difficult it is to look after 6 boys. If you love your children as I love mine, then of course it’s easier not to punish them, but if you want to instill in them a sense of what is right and what is wrong, punishment is necessary. It was difficult for me to punish my boys when they did something wrong, but it was required so that I could fulfill my role as a father well. And I did it because my children are above all for me.

Randy said the same thing in a TV interview that I’m trying to explain: “There had to be a certain order.” And so it was. My boys were always well dressed, clean and polite to others. Katherine and I brought them up old-fashioned, but that way still feels right to me today.

As for the rape allegations, as Janet said in an interview with US Magazine in 1993, it’s “just rubbish. Yes, it’s true, our parents punished us, but if this happened, we always knew why. My parents are very strict, we grew up very domestic and I thank God for that. But my parents didn’t corrupt us mentally, sexually, or in any other way.”

Let’s go back to Michael. In early April 1991, Michael made a deal with Sony Software, Sony Entertainment and Columbia Pictures. He pledged to release on Sony Music (the company that bought CBS Resords), 6 albums.

The press reported that Michael received the highest royalties ever owed to an artist. This agreement also stipulated that Michael become chairman of his own record label, MJJ. And he founded the new Jackson Entertainment Complex, which oversaw the production of all TV shows with kids. As an actor, Michael was guaranteed millions for every film he starred in.

…I can proudly say that big money didn’t change Michael. He’s still the same Michael we all love. For years I’ve been silent about what kind of girlfriends my son had, but now it’s time to tell you that all the press reports about him were not true.

In 1984 my son already had several girlfriends. Everyone knows that he and Tatum O’Neal kissed at a party at the Playboy owner’s villa. Tatum was his first love. Then came Brooke Shields, but she was too young then, and Michael was always a gentleman. He still courted her and bought a ring with a large diamond. He often told his mother how much Brooke meant to him.

Tatum, Brooke and Michael have a lot in common. All three were child stars. Brooke starred in a soap commercial and was almost a child when she starred in Pretty Baby. Although Michael’s relationship with Brooke was limited to parties and discos, he took her very seriously.

After a while, Brooke decided to get her bachelor’s degree from one of the respected universities on the West Coast, and Michael was already constantly on the road for his career. They saw each other very rarely, and their romantic relationship collapsed. But they remained good friends.

Brooke started attending university and Michael fell in love with a young dancer. They flirted with each other during the filming of one of their videos and allowed themselves to be photographed in front of Michael’s trailer. Their first date in the late 80s was Michael’s manager, Frank DiLeo, as a guard dog. Frank knew that Michael was interested in her when the three of them met at the restaurant. Without informing Michael, Frank later tried to woo her, even though he was married.

As soon as she noticed that she was interested in Michael, she broke up with her friend, a Latin American dancer who accompanied Madonna on tour.

The unknown dancer had never been close to a celebrity and she could hardly believe that my son was after her. She could hardly overcome her excitement and spoke openly about their relationship. Michael didn’t like it too much because he didn’t want her out in public before he even had a chance to spend some time with her.

He invited a girl to our house so that my wife and I could get to know her. We all liked her, she was young, beautiful and she had the heart of a child. Soon Michael confessed to his mother that he was in love with a beautiful dancer. But he wanted to get to know her a little better first, so he invited her to accompany him on tour.

There was a strong sexual attraction between them, and it wasn’t long before the young woman could no longer distinguish between their relationship on stage during the show and offstage. She called Michael at the hotel and asked if she could kiss him on stage. Michael agreed, but did not tell his manager about it.

Well, they kissed that evening on stage. Michael really liked it, but his manager was furious because he feared that Michael would lose fans if they found out that he was indeed having an affair.

When the photos of this kiss were published and when this girl spoke on some talk show about her relationship with Michael, Michael’s manager decided that enough was enough. She was immediately fired, despite the fact that she only answered the talk show host’s question if she had anything with Michael, “that he himself should guess about it.

She had no idea how closely the media was watching her. Of course, Michael’s friends Corey Feldman and Little Richard, and his sisters and brothers, knew that he had romantic feelings for her, but of course we didn’t say a word about it until it was clear whether this relationship was serious or not.

Michael felt sad that he had to let her go. She herself was simply destroyed and tried very hard to save their relationship. She commissioned an artist to paint one of her favorite stars, and sent this painting home to him.

She tried in vain to get his attention again, but Michael completely distanced himself from her when he found out that she was dating Prince. He suffered from constant revelations, and did not want to have anything to do with the yellow press, which reported that his ex-girlfriend had replaced him with Prince, and then with one of the Milli Vanilli. When Michael’s lawyer tried to introduce her to one of his brothers, that didn’t work either. None of this worked because she was still in love with Michael.

I felt sorry for the poor thing. She was a sweet girl, but she could not bear the burden of fame after she starred with Michael in one of his videos. After that, she was recognized everywhere, but she barely had enough money to pay the bills. I invited her to be her manager, met with Julie McDonald, Paula Abdul’s agent, and asked her to find a job for the girl.

Julie did her best and was eventually hired by renowned choreographer Geoffrey Hornaday, who had also worked with Michael before. But she did not train enough, and although she had a promising start, she did not have success. I wanted to help her, I managed her, but in the end she was still too immature, and I helped her earn a couple of thousand dollars, which she needed to pay taxes, and again turned my attention to the careers of my children.

When the allegations were made against Michael, she just ran out of money again, and so she spoke about Michael on television, but she spoke such nonsense that it did not seem very plausible. Prince, who met her shortly after at a nightclub, confronted her about it and chided her because she didn’t tell the truth, didn’t tell her that Michael was in love with her.

Prince knew the whole story, because after that she was with him, and all the time she talked only about Michael, told that she was crazy about him. I do not blame her for this – these talk shows will confuse anyone. But I’m glad that Prince gave her his opinion about her hypocritical behavior.

She tried to get away and explained that her words were misrepresented, but Prince did not believe her. He accused her of lying about Michael for money, despite the fact that it was she who could tell the truth.

Well, anyway, Michael later dated Princess Stephanie of Monaco and even secretly recorded a song with her. Of course no one was to know that Stefania was the female voice in this duet. Michael never wanted the public to know too much about the women he was interested in. And because his personal life is in the public eye, you can’t blame him for that.

… I don’t understand the people who invent all this gossip. Michael is a caring, loving father. His children are very happy and cheerful. I love it when our children and grandchildren visit us in Los Angeles.

True, Katherine does not like it when they go to the sea to swim, she is always terribly afraid because of sharks, but the children enjoy spending time with us on the lake.

Newspapers write that Michael is a bad father, because he covers his children’s faces with handkerchiefs. But what is not clear here? There are so many evil people in the world! Someone who is not constantly in the spotlight probably cannot understand this, but Michael is simply afraid that his children might be kidnapped. Therefore, there are no actual photos of his children.

His children are everything to him. He lives for them. Someone like Michael is constantly being watched and photographed all the time. He knows this, but his children are still too young to understand, so he must protect them. Someday they themselves will have to decide whether they want to be shown in public or not.

But back to Michael. Katherine and I love to go to visit him. The road to his ranch is as beautiful as the ranch itself. It passes through wide fields under old sprawling oaks. A small red train circles this area, making the house in Havenhurst look like a miniature model. Classical music plays on the train. As you pass, you can admire the herds of deer grazing near the Indian camp, or a small lake with a white swan boat for two , waterfalls and fountains.

The roads here, like at home in Los Angeles, are lit with tiny white lights.

Michael fulfilled his childhood dream of owning a zoo with elephants and monkeys. In fact, he designed this estate to bring joy to terminally ill children with cancer and AIDS, whom he invites to his place. He also often brings kids from the city on buses to his ranch for 1 day, and although he himself is rarely present, because he is constantly on the road due to some kind of tour, there are many workers who make sure that the children it was good here.

You can ride a horse or take a ride in a carriage, and at the cinema, young girls distribute Pepsi-Cola, popcorn and chocolate to visitors.

My son has created a ranch that the kids love. My 4 year old granddaughter loves Neverland and even adults say they love it here. The recent allegations that he only built the ranch to lure in children are unbelievable.

Michael would never hurt a child. And so that the media no longer discuss what exactly can be understood by this, I will express myself more clearly: Michael would never hit a child, would not use physical force against a child, would never commit violence against a child. For this I vouch as his father!

I remember exactly the first time such accusations were made. It broke Michael’s heart.

I know my son, I was present at his birth, brought him into the world, brought him up and brought him up. Katherine and I know Michael better than anyone else in this world. And we know that our son would never harm a child. He just can’t do it, and that’s good.

When these allegations were made in 1993, Michael’s lawyers said he should settle the matter out of court if he wanted to end it quickly.

Michael agreed with them and paid many millions of dollars in what was widely interpreted as a “ransom”. Katherine advised him to go through with it, but he took it all too personally. He wanted everything to be left behind as soon as possible.

It was already clear to me then that there would be unpleasant consequences, because if someone once received the money, the other would try again. And for this reason, this time Michael decided not to pay.

It took him a long time to forget the grief that these dishonest and far-fetched accusations caused him. I fear that the wounds inflicted on him by the new accusations will never heal. But Michael will fight like a lion to disprove them, and we as a family will support him in this.

When I recently sat in the courtroom and saw Michael in the dock, so many thoughts came to my mind. He was always different from other children, softer and more sensitive. He did not tolerate injustice and always stood up for others.

He knew that he would get into trouble at home because of this, so he would run away if I looked at him angrily. And I have to say, he was very fast, I could hardly keep up with him. These memories still make me laugh.

This little boy must now sit before the judge and make excuses for something he never did. When the judge finished the 1st session, Michael walked slowly towards the exit.

I will never forget the look on his face. He didn’t even notice that I was there, so I lightly pushed his leg with mine. He looked up and when he saw me he smiled with relief.

We have always been close to him. This story hurts all of us.

So many real injustices happen in this world, but nothing is done against it. Instead, an innocent person is being persecuted.

The children of Michael Jackson, as he bequeathed before his death, will remain with his mother. A Los Angeles court has appointed Katherine Jackson as the permanent guardian of Prince Michael Jr., Paris Michael Katherine and Prince Michael II. The biological mother of the children, Debbie Rowe, is allowed to visit them by court order.

The Los Angeles court put an end to the dispute over the custody of the children of singer Michael Jackson, who died on June 25 this year. Prince Michael Jr., 12, Paris Michael Catherine, 11, and Prince Michael II, 7, will be 79 full-time guardians, the Associated Press reported.-year-old mother of the artist Katherine Jackson. The court also ruled to transfer part of the inheritance to the mother of the pop idol – $ 5.5 million, which will be transferred monthly in parts to a special account, so that it would be easier for her to take care of the children. However, who will eventually get the artist’s inheritance – his mother or ex-wife Debbri Rowe, has not yet been decided. During the one and a half hour talks, the parties did not come to a consensus. In the meantime, the biological mother of Rowe’s two older children, by court decision, is allowed to visit them several times a month. She also retains parental rights to Prince Michael Jr. and Paris Michael Katherine.

The lawsuit, which determined the future fate of the children of the pop star, was preceded by lengthy negotiations between Rowe and Jackson’s mother, because of which the court hearings were constantly postponed.

Rowe married Jackson in 1996 and in three years of marriage gave birth to the artist two children. For this, after the divorce, she received $ 8 million. In 1999, when the family broke up, Rowe refused to raise children, and they stayed with their father. In 2003, the mother began to claim children again, but in three years the former spouses reached an agreement, the terms of which were not disclosed. It is only known that the children stayed with Jackson. However, shortly after his death, the ex-wife of the singer stated that the right to custody of the children should go to her. However, the Los Angeles court, appointing a temporary guardian, gave preference to the artist’s mother.

Judge Mitchell Beckloff, who heard the case, based his decision on Jackson’s five-page will, written in 2002. In it, the singer asked that after his death the children stay with their grandmother, and if she did not have enough strength to take care of them, then the soul singer Diana Ross was to become the guardian.

After the appointment of Jackson’s mother as temporary guardian, Rowe reclaimed her rights to the children. Several times there were reports in the press that the biological mother had abandoned her demands, but this information was refuted each time. However, on July 30, Jackson family lawyer Londell McMillan told reporters that Rowe was indeed waiving child custody claims, adding that this time the woman was not paid – the parties agreed out of court, and last Monday a Los Angeles court only approved their agreement. .

However, the end of the lawsuit does not mean that the Jackson children will now live in peace. As previously reported by The Daily Telegraph, the singer’s father Joe Jackson intends to send them on tour. As the singer’s biographer Jan Helperin told the newspaper, the head of the Jackson family saw outstanding artists in his son’s children. According to the publication, this idea of Joe Jackson has already caused the wrath of “one of the family members.”
