My name is Shannon Owens and I am the Center Director in High Point! I have worked in child care for more than 20 years, including the last six as Director of the Holden Road Sunshine House in Greensboro.

Jamie Kearns, Director

Education: B.A in General Studies with a concentration in Psychology and a A.A.S in Early Childhood Education

Certifications: Level III Administrator, BSAC certified, SIDS certified, CPR and First Aid certified, and Playground Safety certified.

I am happy to be apart of the Childtime family. I have been working with children since 2004, in which seven of those years have been in management. I hold a B.A in General Studies with a concentration in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire and a A.A.S in Early Childhood Education from Stanly Community College. I love being able to work with not only the children in my care but their families too. I look forward to meeting and building a relationship with all of you.

I am so excited to be a part of the Childtime family! I currently reside in Thomasville, NC with my four children. I come to The Learning Care group with over 14 years of Early Childhood Education experience with six of those years in administration. It is my mission to make sure that all children are nurtured in a safe thriving environment that allows them to receive experiences that help them develop emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually.
