Our indoor environments encourage exploration in our innovative and engaging resources and learning experiences. Children wonder, create, and test out their ideas as they play with a range of materials in purposeful play spaces. Our team of experienced educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Literacy and numeracy concepts are embedded in play-based learning, as children engage as scientists, artists, architects, storytellers and designers.

We provide nutritious meals created daily by our in-house cook, catering for all dietary requirements. Mealtimes are an opportunity for educators to enhance relationships with the children, giving them opportunities to share stories and experiences, and display healthy eating practices.

A rotating schedule of engaging specialised programs including dance is accessible for your child which is a fun and exciting program that enhances the daily program. Football is also available at an additional fee.

Our educators and children explore our local community visiting the nearby café and local flower power. Our connections with the community are extensive to promote active participation in the broader community. Neighbourhood connections support a sense of community and belonging for children and provide opportunities to develop social and observational skills with different people, places, and environments.

A sustainability philosophy is embedded at our centre teaching children to care for the environment.

Children learn about sustainability practices through our vegetable garden while harvesting food, weeding, watering, and nurturing the environment.

As members of our Early Learning Services community, we look forward to partnering with you to provide information, support, and high-quality education and care in your child’s formative years.

Take a walk in your child’s footsteps

Every day  is a different adventure with children, but there are some key elements that make your child’s time so enjoyable at Early Learning Services Centres. Scroll through the below to see what a typical day might look like.

Arrival at the centre

Experience a sense of belonging as you are welcomed by our friendly centre teams. On arrival, share information about your child’s specific needs for the day. Our experienced educators will support you and your child with the morning transition from home to centre.

Mealtimes

Your child enjoys a nutritious menu prepared by our centre cooks. Shared mealtimes between children and educators strengthen relationships, with opportunities to share stories and experiences. Educators model healthy eating practices and social behaviours, and support children’s growing independence with mealtime routines.

Infant care

Infants are held in educators’ arms for feeding. Bottle feeding with educators or breastfeeding with Mum provides one-on-one time for connection, talking gently and responding to baby’s cues. Everyday routines provide opportunities to strengthen relationships and build language skills through songs, games, and conversations.

Play-based learning

As your child plays, they develop dispositions for learning including curiosity, problem-solving, confidence and resilience. Educators plan play-based learning experiences around children’s interests and learning goals. Play-based learning supports all areas of children’s development, including language and motor movement, memory, concentration, emotions, and social relationships.

Sleep, rest and relaxation

Sleep, rest and relaxation routines match your child’s individual needs. Effective sleep practices help children feel safe and secure to support better sleep. Opportunities for rest and relaxation are always available across the day. Play-based learning experiences are provided for older children who don’t sleep.

Heading home

Experience a sense of satisfaction that your child has enjoyed and benefited from their day at the centre. As you prepare to head home, speak with our friendly educators about your child’s learning and experiences across the day. We look forward to welcoming you back tomorrow.

“We were anxious about sending our 11month old to Daycare in general but it’s clearly been a wonderful thing for our little one. The carers at this centre are warm, engaged and so caring and the best testament to this is how excited our child is to go to daycare and that he’s attached to the staff there. It’s a small centre, which I love, and they go above and beyond to accommodate individual needs.”

Alecia Green

“An amazing centre. The staff are lovely and warm and my little boy has bonded well with all the staff. The centre has some beautiful wooden play furniture and toys, and a large outside area with plenty of room for the kids to run and play. The sand pit is wonderful and there is a lovely little garden patch which the kids love attending too. It really is a beautiful little centre, it has plenty of parking and is in a nice, quiet street. Very highly recommend!”

Alycia Griffiths

“Our daughter has been attending Greenhills daycare for over a year and now, she absolutely loves it there and we love Greenhills too. All of the educators are friendly and easy to talk to about any concerns or special requests that you may have for your child.”

Back to school? Back to school? HMRC England helps with UK school costs

Tax-free child care returns more money
into the pockets of working families by providing much-needed
financial support to cover the cost of childcare in
11 years of age or younger or 17 years of age if the child has
    disability. For every 8 pounds
Sterling deposited into Tax-Free Childcare online account, families
will automatically receive an additional £2 in the form of
    government replenishments.

Families receive up to £500 every three
months (£2,000 per year) per child or £1,000
sterling (£4,000 per annum) if their child is disabled,
helping to cover the costs of before and after school clubs, babysitting and
kindergartens, vacation clubs and other approved care schemes
    children.

    June 2022
    HMRC paid
    £41.6 million in additional payments,
which were divided among approximately 391,000 families throughout
    Great Britain.

Families can find out what child care allowances
they fit best, through the section
    « Care Choice
    children.”

    Myrtle
    Lloyd, General
    Director of HMRC Customer Service,
    said:

    Tax free child care may
make a big difference to families by helping pay the bills for
things like integrated school care, kindergartens, nannies and
    recreation clubs. Register
very simple – enter “Tax-Free Childcare” on the website
    GOV.UK.

Over a million families in the UK are eligible for
any form of government support for childcare, and
the government encourages those who have the right to keep their
    rights.

For thousands of families using Tax Free services for
childcare, the money they save every month on
child care expenses is money that is returned to
their pockets. Accounts can be opened at
any time of the year and use immediately, and money can be deposited into
any time and use as needed
    need. Any
unused money that is deposited may simply be
    removed at any time.
