Childcare at Hawthorn Farm Athletic Club
KID CENTRAL
Kid Central is a safe and fun place for children age up to 8 years old while their adults enjoy the club.
Drop off your child for up to two hours per day. Our dedicated staff will keep them safe and entertained in our fun and friendly environment.
Our bright facility includes toys, climbing structures, padded play areas, infant amenities and table space for homework and crafts. Our two-staff minimum rule insures there is always at least two sets of eyes watching the kiddos.

- Monday: 8:30-11:30am
- Tuesday: 8:30-11:30am & 5-7:30pm

Pricing
- Youth Member: $3/hour charged to member account billed in 15-minute increments.
- Kid Central Monthly Unlimited is $36 for the first child and $24 for each additional child.
- Kid Central Monthly Unlimited is $36 for the first child and $24 for each additional child.
- Youth Non-member: $5.50/hours billed in 15 minute increments.
Who May Use Kid Central?
- Adults (Parent/Legal Guardians) must be active HFAC Members.
- Children are not required to be active HFAC Members (non-member pricing applies).
- Children ages 6 months to 8 years old.
Operations & Info for First Time Visitors
- A new medical/Covid liability waiver MUST be completed for each child by the parent/guardian prior to drop-off for their first time.
- Drop-In Only – Reservations are not required.
- No parent/guardian allowed beyond activity gate.
- No Food and Drink. Single-use cups for water will be provided. Bottles permitted for infants.
- Kid Central Staff will gladly change diapers and help with potty training. We ask that parents provide all necessary diapering items.
- All Kid Central employees are fully vaccinated.
- Kid Central is limited to 20 kids in the room for up to 2 hours per child per day.
- Social distancing is promoted, but kids by nature move freely. Visuals and verbal reminders will be used to help kids with spacing.
- The Kid Central room utilizes Merv13 air filtration.
- Surfaces and toys will be cleaned regularly by staff.
- Two Kid Central Staff will be in attendance at all times assisting with desk support and activities
HEALTH HAWTHORN STANDARD
- We ask that parents exclude from the program any child or staff member, regardless of vaccination status, if they exhibit COVID-19 symptoms including new loss of taste or smell, fever, new cough, or shortness of breath in the last 10 days. HFAC will exclude any staff member, regardless of vaccination status, if they exhibit Covid-19 symptoms including new loss of taste or smell, fever, new cough, or shortness of breath in the last 10 days.

- A new cough means out of the ordinary for this person – e. g., not typical asthma, allergies.
- Fever means 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or more, without the use of fever-reducing medication.
- Exclusion from the program should be for 10 days after onset of symptoms and 24 hours after both fever and cough resolve, without the use of a fever reducing medication. Programs should consult with the Local Public Health Authority for additional guidance. • The 10-day exclusion period can be shortened: • If an individual with symptoms of COVID-19 tests negative at any time during the 10-day period. They can return to the childcare program 24 hours after resolution of cough and fever without
the use of fever-reducing medication.

- A child who has received routine childhood vaccinations in the last 48 hours can return to care at the
direction of a medical professional once they are fever-free. Documentation of vaccination from the
medical professional is recommended.- Monitor for symptoms anyone who comes into the program who is known to have had a household member with symptoms of COVID-19. The ill household member should be strongly encouraged to get tested. An unvaccinated staff member or child who has been in close contact of an individual with presumptive or confirmed COVID-19 may be required to be excluded in accordance with Oregon Health Authority rules.
- Follow these recommendations for individuals who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms but who have received their COVID-19 vaccine within the past three days:
- If the individual has symptoms of fatigue, chills, muscle ache, joint pain, or redness –
these are likely vaccine side effects. If no fever is present, the individual may work or
attend the program if they feel well enough to work. If fever is present, staff members should stay home until 24 hours fever-free.
- If the individual has symptoms of fatigue, chills, muscle ache, joint pain, or redness –
- Monitor for symptoms anyone who comes into the program who is known to have had a household member with symptoms of COVID-19.
- If the individual’s only symptom is fever, the individual should stay home until 24 hours fever-free. If the fever does not improve in two days, the individual should see a health care provider and consider getting tested for COVID-19 as they may have been exposed prior to vaccination.
- If the individual has symptoms that include cough, shortness of breath, or loss of taste or smell, they
should be excluded consistent with the recommendations above.

Jury at Hillsborough Stadium tragedy inquest to decide whether death of 96 fans who died in 1989 stampede qualifies as murder at a football match in Sheffield.
Events at Sheffield’s Hillsborough Stadium on 15 April 1989 are considered
the bloodiest tragedy in the history of English football.
Coroner Judge Sir John Goldring began summarizing the results of almost two years of hearings in this case. nine0019
He told the jury that they would have to decide if this tragedy was the result of a mistake or other similar circumstances. According to him, the circumstances of the death of 96 Liverpool fans were extremely controversial.
He added that jurors should not use certain language such as “crime”. However, it is possible to use such epithets as “unsuitable” or “insufficient”.

The jury will retire on February 22nd.
The question of criminal murder is just one of 14 questions that the jury will have to answer.
