Welcome to Our School
Welcome to Everbrook Academy in Gainesville, VA! My name is Sarah and I am the principal. I attended Old Dominion University and have a background in psychology. In addition, I have completed extensive training in eight content areas of early childhood development and management. I have been working in the field for 11 years and in management for eight of those.
We offer Infant and Toddler care, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten and Before- and After-school clubs for School-Age students. Through 21st century learning, we not only focus on a child’s transition into the public-school system using the School Readiness Pathway, but also on developing strong social/emotional skills to be successful in the real world.
One of our school’s unique components is The Brook – our all-ages community activity room. There, we have an interactive virtual playground, cozy reading nooks and STEAM zones for robotics, coding, and more. Step outside and discover some outdoor fun with our playground, age-appropriate playscapes and STEAM-inspired play systems!
Building close relationships with our Everbrook families is also a key factor in your child’s development. My experienced and passionate staff members work together as partners to help your child be successful in our program and beyond.
We’re committed to keeping you connected throughout the day while your child is in our care. Get access to live streaming video of your child’s classroom, plus other real-time updates, with our exclusive mobile app for families, SproutAbout.
Please schedule a tour of Everbrook Academy here in Gainesville, VA – we cannot wait to meet your family!

Top 10 Reasons South Bend Should Open for All Women’s Health
[wpvideo RfDnt4s0]
1. There are only 6 abortion clinics in the entire state of Indiana.
This means that some women have to drive for more than three hours to get abortion care. Distance creates an additional barrier for women who need care, especially when other possible factors such as the cost of gas, travel arrangements, childcare planning, or work interruption are taken into account.
2. Political intervention should not prevent a woman’s access to safe abortion care.
Politicians like Mike Pence continue to push restrictive legislation that prevents women from accessing the abortion care they need. Indiana is classified as “highly hostile” to abortion rights, as new laws have been passed in recent years that burden women seeking abortion and force clinics to close. In 2014 about 95 percent of Indiana’s counties did not have abortion clinics, and 66 percent of Indiana women lived in those counties. There are now only six clinics in Indiana open to serve women, up from 10 in 2011.
3. When women are denied the opportunity to choose what happens to their bodies, they lose their freedom.
Denying women the right to have an abortion is a slippery slope to denying other care, including birth control, emergency contraception, and even proper prenatal care. When women can choose what happens to their bodies and when, they can also choose what is best for their future, their families, and themselves.
4. South Bend deserves the very best in healthcare, including a full range of women’s reproductive health options.
“Whole Woman’s Health will provide access to services critical to women’s physical, mental and emotional well-being, thereby filling a critical reproductive health gap in the South Bend community. When we deny a woman the ability to choose what happens to her body, we deny her the freedom to make decisions that are best for her and her family. We must guarantee the rights of our community members to have a child, not to have a child, and to raise children in a safe and healthy environment. If we only focus on the former, we will perpetuate reproductive injustice at the expense of women, children and families in our community.”
– Carmella Vizza, Leader of the Undivided District of Indiana 2
5. Alliance Health and Whole Woman’s Health Alliance provides abortion services with dignity, respect and compassion.
We are a group of women’s clinics providing comprehensive gynecological services, including abortions. We are committed to destigmatizing abortion and creating safe spaces for all people, whether in our clinics or in the communities where they live.
6. Every woman should be at the center of her health decisions.
We trust women to make decisions for themselves and their families. We are here to support them during a difficult time in their lives. Our philosophy is that every woman should be at the center of her own healthcare decisions and we pride ourselves on being a women-owned, women-centric, progressive business.
7. Individualized treatment for each patient will better serve women and improve their health and happiness in communities where quality care is available.
Our philosophy is that treating every woman holistically – respecting her head, heart and body – will better serve women and improve their health and happiness in our wider communities. We reach out to communities where we are most needed and strive to raise standards of care by offering compassionate and quality care, while also working to remove barriers to reproductive care.
8. When women control their health, society wins.
It has been proven over the years that when women have access to birth control, the economy and the labor market thrive. The results are similar when women have access to abortion care – they can plan for their future, which determines their participation in society. When women have a choice when they want to become parents or whether they want to, they can also make choices regarding higher education, careers, travel, etc.
9. Alliance Health Alliance is dedicated to eradicating the shame and stigma associated with abortion care.
We remain a strong advocate and pillar of society wherever we have clinics, becoming the voice of women’s reproductive justice in many communities where the state is attacking women’s health care, destroying it and creating an environment that forces women to potentially take desperate measures. . We are proud to have eliminated the stigma around abortion and ensured that all women have safe and affordable access to abortion care.
10. Good women have abortions.
The people we serve come from all walks of life, from young college students to teenagers and professional women who stay at home with their mothers; from religious and spiritual people to women trying to figure out what they believe; from women with insurance to women without a health protection system and in need of financial support. The fact is that not only one woman has an abortion. Abortion is a normal part of a woman’s reproductive life, and nearly 40% of American women will have an abortion by age 45. We understand that no one gets pregnant to have an abortion. We also understand that facing an unplanned pregnancy and choosing an abortion is related to all the important things in a woman’s life – checking identity, life, death, gender, religion, family; your dreams and your aspirations.
