JCC Chicago Early Childhood – Preschool & Daycare in Chicagoland

Welcome

At JCC Chicago Early Childhood, there is a deep understanding that children,

from the youngest age, are capable of extraordinary things.

Our passion and privilege is to provide your precious children with endless

learning opportunities, love and support while nurturing their skill development.

Our educators are focused on social-emotional learning to build resiliency and help students adjust to our new world. Helping children understand and manage their emotions, feel and show empathy for others, establish healthy relationships, and make responsible decisions are the cornerstones of growing great people. These essential skills prevent learning deficits that children outside our program may have experienced during the pandemic!

Our Locations

We’re in your neighborhood. You can find us in Glencoe, Lake Zurich, Lakeview, Northbrook, West Rogers Park and Evanston.

Come visit us. We’d love to give you a tour!

What Makes Us Different

It is our passion and our privilege to provide your children with endless opportunities to learn, grow and explore.

“This is our first year at JCC Chicago preschool and we are so incredibly happy with our child’s teachers, progress and the program overall. (We’ve seen) huge strides with language, social skills and focus since starting preschool. We love doing Shabbat as a family every week and watching our child bring songs and lessons learned home.”

Pritzker, state the following: Lowering copays to $1 for CCAP-eligible families with a parent or guardian working in childcare. In lieu of IDHS not having official forms to request the copay reduction, YWCA Metropolitan Chicago is requesting that parent who qualify for the copay reduction request that their copayment be reduced in writing with their signature. Requests can be submitted via walk-in, fax, USPS or email at [email protected]. Babysitters in Chicago, Practical Advice in USA

Childcare is often advertised on community forums like craigslist or in the yellow pages, but before you trust your child to anyone’s help make sure they are properly accredited and licensed. Make sure the center is approved by NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children – Phone: 1-800-424-2460 or Rel=”NOFOLLOW”> http://www.naeyc.org). Childcare for newborns can be more difficult to find as there are more restrictive childcare rules. The law specifies that one adult should be responsible for no more than three children. For online listing opportunities check out Yahoo kids listings.

There is also Child Care Resource and Transfer Agencies (R & Rs) which are one of the best ways to find referrals for licensed child care and development programs. They also provide resources and referral to low-income families eligible for subsidized child care. Many also have written materials on several topics, including choosing a child development program that’s right for you, as well as brochures on child development topics. Chicago also has the Chicago Childhood Society, which provides preschool, programming, and literature.

Day care

Some women run the day care from their home as they stay at mom’s house themselves. By law, they must be licensed and possess some basic CPR training. Depending on the facilities they may have limits on how many children they can take care of. These facilities tend to be cheaper and more flexible than the larger worries of the day. They usually cost $8 to $15 an hour or $40 to $60 a day. Per month expenses are typically between $800 and $1,400 per month.

Preschool

Preschool programs are often held in public elementary schools. They provide child care while they begin teaching. Different programs may run in half-day or full-day care periods. Public schools and the government try to keep costs down for these programs, but preschool for 1-2 years is typically $800 to $1200 per month with adult children costing $700 to $1000 per month.

Nanny

Nanny This is usually done by a neighbor or acquaintance for a lower salary than a professional agency. Young women, often at school or college, offer their services on craigslist or community boards. Prices and skill levels vary substantially along with prices, but it’s best to hire someone with some CPR skills and literature. Prices can range from $6-12 per hour per child.
