AMERICA’S MOST ACCREDITED

We’re so proud!

Nationally only 10% of daycares are accredited – nearly 100% of our learning centers are. That’s a big difference,
and that means KinderCare kids are getting the very best. Here’s why.

SCHOOL-READY

What Learning Looks Like

Our talented early-childhood teachers set kids down the path toward becoming lifelong learners in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

East Carol Stream KinderCare Programs

Infant Programs (6 weeks–1 year)

Leaving your baby in someone else’s care is a big step. Everyone at our
centers—most importantly, our naturally gifted infant teachers—will work with
you to make sure the transition goes smoothly. When you step into our infant
classroom, you’ll see how much we want your infant to feel safe, loved, and
ready to explore their world.

Toddler Programs (1–2 Years)

Everything in our toddler classroom is designed for little explorers. That’s
because a lot is going on at this age. When your child is wandering all over the
place, that means they’re learning and discovering new things every day. We’ll
help them explore their interests (and find new ones!) as they play and learn.

Discovery Preschool Programs (2–3 Years)

This age is filled with so much wonder and curiosity. That’s why we offer a ton
of books and toys and bring artwork down to kids eye level. Children in
discovery preschool also begin to learn how we all work together in a
classroom. Simple math and science, pretend play, and group play help them
get used to a more structured school setting.

Preschool Programs (3–4 Years)

This age is all about expression, when kids really start to form their own ideas
about what they want to play and how they want to create. Every day in our
preschool classroom, your child will explore science experiments, create
artwork, and play pretend—all the skills needed for their big next step:
kindergarten!

Prekindergarten Programs (4–5 Years)

When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see artwork and
writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere to help kids connect
letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on the walls that reflect the families
in our community.  Your child will also deepen their knowledge in language,
math, science, Spanish, and social skills.

Before- and After-School Programs (5–12 Years)

You can count on us to provide reliable care for your school-ager while you’re
at work, with safe transportation from our center to your child’s school and
back! Whether your child wants to start a drama club, build a volcano, or
create a comic book, they will have a place to follow their dreams. Your child
will start and end the day with a whole lot of fun!

School Break Programs (preschool, prekindergarten, and school-age)

Winter break, spring break, summer break—when school’s out (but you still need to work), you
can count on KinderCare to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that’s focused
on fun. We welcome children ages 5–12 during school break times and make sure they have a
sensational, screen-free experience they won’t forget.

Participating Child Care Aware Center

KinderCare partners with Child Care Aware® of America to offer fee assistance for
Active Duty military families and flexible support to fit their needs when care at a Child
Development Center on the installation is not available.

Learning Adventures – Enrichment Program

Cooking Academy™ (3 – 12 Years)

In Cooking Academy, kids learn new recipes from cultures around the world and
develop a healthy relationship with food. They’ll whip up everything from Southwest
rainbow lettuce wraps to pumpkin muffins, building their skills in STEM, communication,
and more along the way. And yes—little chefs get to eat their culinary creations!

Music Explorers™ (2 – 4 Years)

KinderCare families are already giving a standing ovation to our newest Learning
Adventures program: Music Explorers! Kids will learn to sing, move, listen, play
instruments, and even create their own tunes. Our original curriculum blends math,
science, social studies, literacy, and mindfulness (think yoga!) for a uniquely KinderCare
way of learning the foundations of music.

Phonics Adventures® (2 – 4 Years)

Learning how to read is a whole lot of fun at KinderCare! We help kids grow to love
books and words (and get ready for kindergarten) in our Phonics Adventures program.
From discovering the basics of vowels to practicing poetry, kids learn all about letters
and sounds in small-group lessons made just for their age group. (Bonus: Kids who
attend our phonics program are more prepared than their peers for school—and we
have the data to prove it.)

Weekly Mini Camp

Our Teachers

We’re the only company in early childhood education to select teachers based on natural talent. Being a great educator isn’t enough though.
KinderCare teachers are also amazing listeners, nurturers, boo-boo fixers, and smile-makers. Put more simply,
we love our teachers and your child will, too.

A KINDERCARE TEACHER WITH

An Artist’s Heart

“My classroom is full of art!” says Mary Annthipie-Bane, an award-winning early childhood educator at KinderCare. Art and creative expression, she says, help children discover who they really are.

We put our best-in-class teachers in a best-in-class workplace. We’re so proud to have been named one of Gallup’s 37 winners of the Great Workplace Award.
When you put great teachers in an engaging center, your children will experience
an amazing place to learn and grow.

Family Stories

Don’t take our word for it. Hear what our families have to say about our amazing center!

  • “When I started at this center I was extremely nervous leaving my child in the hands of what I called ‘strangers. ‘ But after a few short days, I felt as though the teachers were family and I had a peace of mind when leaving my child. I am now a mother of two and have both of my children in this center. There is no question that my children will grow up at this center and all of the teachers will continue to be our family.”

    Studinski Family – KinderCare Parent
  • “This center is ‘AMAZING.’ The center is extremely family-oriented, and my children get the best care possible. I would recommend this center to everyone. Ms. Sarah, Ms. Brittany, and Ms. Colleen are wonderful and caring with all three of my children, and Valerie the Center Director and Nancy the Assistant Director are a great management team who go above and beyond for all of the families in the center.”

    Melissa D. – KinderCare Parent
  • “We’ve always felt welcome at KinderCare. The staff has been awesome working around my son and his allergies, and keeping in touch with us during the day. When he comes home every day he’s showing us new things he has learned at ‘school.’ It is obvious that he is cared for and comfortable, resulting in him always having a great day.”

    Vogel Family – KinderCare Parent
  • “I refer to this center as ‘My KinderCare.’ I love the teachers, and my children adore the teachers and spending time at the center. I am very comfortable with the care my children receive and consider the teachers and staff to be my children’s second parents.”

    Ramos Family – KinderCare Parent

Christmas carols for children

Unlike pagan carols, Christmas carols are held during the holidays from 7 to 18 January. Carols express congratulations to the owner of the house and, of course, a hint of a sweet reward. Here are a few Christmas carols for children about a good and bright holiday.

Oh carol, carol,
We came to you for a reason,
Good health to the house,
We wish you a whole room.
To make the children happy,
Give us a candy. (from the editor)

***

So that the year goes well,
Let the carol into your house,
She comes to you slowly,
Chasing away tears and misfortune.
Don’t talk bad to her,
Better give her sweets.

***

When the new year comes,
Kolyada comes to you,
Jumps like a goat,
Smells like a rose,
Likes to eat bagels,
Wears mittens with earflaps.

***

I am caroling, caroling,
I conjure happiness for you,
Christmas is coming soon,
Let goodness in your window.
And you – share the good,
And in response to me – smile.
Reward for good,
And go about your business. (from the editor)

***

Kolyada comes to your house,
On the eve of Christmas,
And she brings with her,
A lot of happiness and kindness.
Be happy, friends,
And the whole family will be healthy!
Wish me the same,
Yes, give me some treats. (Editor’s note)

***

Christmas winds are blowing,
Adults and children are caroling,
Children are caroling,
Give them sweets.

Teenagers enter the house,
Blondes and brunettes,
Give them coins instead of candy. (from the editor)

***

People, celebrate Christmas!
Accept congratulations.
Snow and cold are all around here,
Pour tea with a pie! (ed. )

***

Mistress, open the doors,
And open your heart to happiness,
Christmas is a bright holiday,
It gives joy to everyone.
Live in peace and love,
And bring us pies! (from the editor)

***

Bright Christmas,
What does it say?
Maybe it’s about goodness?
Or about light and heat?
A holiday about the light that is in the soul,
It is about the warmth of the heart,
It inspires goodness in everyone,
This is what Christmas is about. (ed.)

***

When a star lit up,
She lit up hearts,
She led people through life,
A symbol of love and kindness.
It burns the brightest,
On a bright Christmas. (from the editor)

***

There is a bright star in the sky,
So Kolyada is close!
Children visit guests,
Give them handfuls of sweets!
If you are not generous,
This year you will yearn! (from the editor)

***

Ding-dong-ding-dong, the bells are ringing,
Daughters and sons are hurrying to you,
Meet the Kolyada soon,
Light them up with kindness. (from the editor)

***

We sow, we sow, we sow,
Congratulations to all with carols,
Happiness, joy, health,
We wish you, owners.

***

Good evening good people!
Let the holiday be merry.
Merry Christmas.
We wish you happiness, joy!
Generous evening, good evening!
Good people to health!

***

I will go to any housing,
They are waiting for me everywhere,
They call it carols,
I come to winter.
I eat sweets, jams,
I love any treats.
Be more generous with me,
Then I will not become more harmful.

***

Hurry, master, open the gate,
A mischievous carol is rushing towards you!
Bring pies, jam and tea,
Meet us more generously!

***

We will call you by bells
With best wishes and bow.
We came to carol,
Merry Christmas to you!

***

Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas,
We hasten to congratulate you,
Joy, joy,
We wish you at this hour.
Full house, full house,
Happiness and kindness,
May fate be generous. (from the editor)

***

Kolyada Kolyada,
Let trouble pass by.
May wishes come true,
All secret dreams.
Be kinder and brighter,
And be generous with treats. (from the editor)

***

Kolyada, Kolyada,
We open all houses,
All windows, chests,
We give sweets and pies,
For your benefit,
Say thank you to heaven,
God will give us all health,
After all, he is ready for this!

The moon shone in the sky, showed us the way-way
Upper-lower – to the nearest house.
Go out, master, on the porch, pour wine into a glass.
We won’t drink wine – we’ll anoint our lips,
we’ll anoint our lips – we’ll tell you about your house.
Your house has four corners,
In every corner – three fellows:
Good, Comfort, Peace live.
A girl walks from corner to corner –
A scythe spreads along the floor –
A girl is called – Love,
Your shelter is kept on it!
If you generously reward us, –
Keep happiness in the house!
Let’s leave with gifts from the yard –
Bins will be full!
At least a candy, at least a nickel –
We won’t leave just like that!!!

***
Carol, carol…
And the woman has a beard.
And my grandfather grew a tail.
Runs to the girls, scoundrel.

Kolyada, Kolyada…
We don’t even care about grief.
Even the one who is blind and dumb –
Drinks seven shots.

Kolyada, Kolyada…
We dance all year long.
And on all fours
We boldly climb the stairs.

Carol, carol…
We never get sick.
The wives are arguing –
We are flying naked into the yard.

Kolyada, Kolyada…
What without money is nonsense!
All bottles are handed over
And they walk again and drink.

Kolyada, Kolyada…
Nothing but cold.
I’ll go to my mistress myself,
I’ll swim with her in the pond.

Carol, carol…
Have fun, people, always!
After all, we should not be sad,
Enjoying life’s ball.

Carol, carol…
On the table – a candle, food.
Cute Christmas tree shines.
And God bless everyone.

***
God forbid that
who is in this house!
The rye is thick for him,
The supper rye!
An octopus from an ear,
From the grain of a carpet for him,
From a half-grain pie.
God bless you
And life, and life,
And wealth!
