Piscataway High School offers a wide array of opportunities and paths to explore different interests. The administration allows students to take initiative through student run clubs. There are several levels of available courses for those interested in pursuing more challenging classes and those who need extra help. Most teachers are very motivations and provide support, although some fail to go the extra mile to encourage every single student. There are many after school activities that allow for students to get an all-around dynamic high school experience such as plays, volunteer opportunities, athletics, and clubs. The administration is very organized and informative regarding academics and promoting opportunities for students. Proper disciplinary action and decisions lack a bit, some decisions being far too strict for certain situations while others are not strict enough.

Piscataway is an incredibly diverse township with so many kind teachers willing to take their time to further a student’s education. People are so accepting of each other’s differences and love to explore other cultures and learn more about people, which really makes Piscataway stand out as opposed to other school districts. Additionally, Piscataway High School gives a wide array of AP classes compared to my other friends’ schools and allows us to choose our courses, which other schools do not offer. The counselors throughout schools are so generous with their time and are always there for the students, and the staff is so incredibly welcoming. Piscataway has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and as a high school senior, I can’t believe my time with Piscataway is coming to a close!
Piscataway is an incredibly diverse school district and people are so considerate and tolerant to one another’s culture and beliefs, which is the greatest selling point of Pway. People come together to celebrate festivals like Diwali even if they do not celebrate the festival. Additionally, Puscataway teachers and staff are amazing! The counselors and teachers are always there for their students. Additionally, Piscataway High School allows students to choose their courses each year; this is something many schools do not offer and we students are allowed to choose what APs we would like to take without being forced to take any APs or classes we do not want to take. Piscataway is a great town to grow up in and resembles the real world!
