It is, in general, a good school. But teacher turn over is HIGH and you play the teacher lottery. Many are great, some are ok but there are several that are not good and a few that are terrible. Also, there is over 900 student currently enrolled. My daughter is in a “module” which is a fancy word for a trailer. Decatur did not plan well for how many people have moved here..

Schools in Boston, the best schools in Boston
Education abroad is distinguished by quality and prestige, and secondary education is gaining more and more popularity. Thanks to studying in American schools, students have all the necessary conditions for comfortable adaptation to studying in an international environment, obtaining the necessary knowledge and skills for entering foreign universities. Boston is a popular student city: it is here that the famous Ivy League universities are located – Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and many others. For Russian students and schoolchildren, foreigners, hundreds of balanced programs have been developed here. Boston is an excellent intellectual environment for the diversified improvement of one’s knowledge and cultural enlightenment: there are many museums, art galleries and cultural and entertainment events here.
Features of education in Boston schools, language of instruction, scholarships. Which program to choose?
- One of the most popular programs is the American High School Diploma, which teaches American and foreign students. Upon graduation, students will receive a diploma of secondary education
- For students in grades 11-12, there is an opportunity to study on the IB program (International Baccalaureate, or IB Diploma). The diploma of this course is recognized all over the world and gives some advantage when entering the top universities in the world. The course is designed to provide the necessary preparation for entering a university in any country on the planet

The program consists of 34 subjects, which are taught at the first-year university level. Upon completion, the student receives an advantage in admission to the chosen prestigious university.
Pupils study school subjects for 5-6 hours a day. At the end of each academic year, students take exams to control the level of knowledge and move on to the next grade. Studying at school is an excellent preparation for higher education – usually graduates of private schools in the United States are well prepared for university entrance exams. Pupils are also waiting for a rich extra-curricular life: a wide range of creative and sports activities and a cultural program. With a diploma of secondary education in the USA, you can enter the best universities in the world!
English-Learning Courses, Boston School Benefits
Additional English as a Foreign Language programs are available for international students to improve their language skills. The advantages of American schools include small classes and increased attention to students.
How to choose a school, which school is better?
In order to choose a school and not regret it, it should be taken into account that along with the state schools in America there are a large number of private schools that are distinguished by a higher level of comfort, equipment and quality of education. For Russian students, boarding schools in the USA are best suited: thanks to living in residences, it is easier for foreigners to adapt to life in the country and make new friends.
In order to choose the most suitable place of study, you should look at the list of programs offered, the advantages of schools, and also pay attention to the ratings of the best schools in the United States. Below is just a small selection of schools and the programs they offer as an example.
