Community: Middleton Baby and Child Care is a learning community of children, families, and staff. MBCC is also a member of the community of Middleton (including the Middleton Chamber of Commerce) and supports the early childhood community with memberships in WCCAA, DCAEYC, and 4C.
Diversity: Children benefit from a learning community that recognizes and respects diversity. Human diversity is reflected in classroom materials and lessons, as well as among MBCC’s children and staff. The presence of Spanish in the center also contributes to children’s sense of a diverse world.
Sustainability: Middleton Baby and Child Care cultivates sustainable practices wherever possible (100% recycled paper towels, organic gardening, landscaping for birds and butterflies, etc.). MBCC encourages staff and children to appreciate and protect the natural world.

Show your feelings and don’t be shy about it
It’s no secret that the upbringing of the children of aristocrats has always been different from upbringing in ordinary families. There are strict rules, regulations and many prohibitions, which a crowned person (even if she still walks under the table) should not do. Kate and William in this regard are quite “folk” parents: they hug their children, have fun with them and don’t really worry about the form in which the next paparazzi camera will capture them. And they are doing the right thing!
Psychologists say that tactile contact with a child is the most important condition for his harmonious development . The child must be hugged, kissed, stroked on the head, held on his knees and squeezed in hugs as often as possible.

Kate Middleton also played with the 11-month-old girl and talked to her mother, Rea, who spoke about the special support that can be received from other parents at the center.
“You can come in here and tell people you didn’t get enough sleep and everyone else will say they didn’t,” laughed Ree and Kate. Ri noted that everyone here perfectly understands the problems of parents, and no one will blame anyone for this.
